“And it is still true, no matter how old you are -- when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.”
OMG I feel awful this morning. real ruff. The weekend was crazy hectic cause it was the house warming party. over 30 people came and the house didnt feel crowded and more importantly no one went looking in any cupboards to discover diapers of pacifiers or anything like that so that was good, but the party went on till 4am on sunday morning and at the very end one of my friends fell over and broke her hand so she ended up in hospital so ooops. but other than that the party was good but then sunday was sorting the house and trying to get back into proper commissions and stuff and today Ive woken up feeling really just....wrong LOL but there is soooo soooo very much work to do at work i dare not take the day off. Smooo so im gonna drag myself in looking all diseased and wretched and pityful and mebbe share some germs.
This coming weekend is the ikklespace picnic. I run a safe ageplay website (which needs serious updating its on my list of things to do) called ikklespace and every year I host a picnic. well saturday is that day and I have (at last count) 15 people staying overnight at my house. This is going to be interesting and im panicking a bit about it truth be told as ive never had that many people to look after before. but it does mean friday saturday and probably sunday im going to be AWOL due to looking after all the people ive crammed into my house kinda ironic really. I set up ikklespace so that I could feel little and ive kinda become the mother hen figure instead. I guess thats the perils of being a web administrator.
Or even being here on FA, the idea was to be a little kid and I find myself the one helping to sort peoples problems out or offering advice (when asked for it) and so ive kinda become the responsible adult again rather than the carefree baby, these things happen I guess, but every once in a while it would be nice to just switch off and not have to worry about very much, but how can you switch off if you see someone needing help and you knowing you can provide what they need. ooh in a quandry.
giggles I used the word quandry and its not even 8am yet

I feel terrible, too (I got my annual summer cold a little early this year). I hope you get to feeling better soon, Sammy. It's good to hear your party went well. I hope your picnic goes well, too, and I hope you don't feel too grown up the whole time through. Maybe you could jump into a pool again.
Any way, i hope you will feel better soon, maybe it just acumulation of the stress of the weekend.
An about be trying to help people insted of just be carefree like other toddler, you just to kind and have to much harth for be self centered like any kid:) Thank make you a super kindly cub squigly:P
If I were to take the lessons from your own Found comic, I might say what you require is another care giver to take a turn and grab you up while you're trying to toddle off to save the woild to tell you that it's all going to be alright, and how some super 'sponsible adult is already tending to the crying one in the corner, and they'll be happy again and ready to play with you after you've had a nice nap. :B
