Does Your Choice of Character Say Something About You?

Pretty much what the title says. Do you think your choice in main character says anything about you as a person or is it just a thing you find appealing?
Personally I think someone's choice in animal does say something about who they are. Different animals are perceived in culture as having different traits with which we might identify or wish to espouse as our predominant feature.
Reason I ask is I'M A LION NOW. Uhurr.
I feel it suits me. During my time in the fandom I've changed characters a lot, because I never felt I'd found one that 'fit' me just right. But I feel pretty comfy with this choice.
I was going to type out a whole thing here but it's
blackbridle's birthday and we're going out to stuff Italian food in our stupid mouths because he's older today or something. Give him birthday boners. He loves those.

I am because coyote chose me, and I guess he suits me, haha.

I love wolves, they are so amazing animals. Thats why chose wolf.

since 1996 - I have found it very much can tell you alot about
someone.

They are clever and mischievous and adaptable. I think that fits me well.
Mostly cause jackals are utterly awesome and robots are just as awesome.
So why not have both?
One would perhaps assume that if they could talk, they'd also possess a dark sense of humor and I definitely have that; It's gotten me into trouble more than a few times.
I went with robot because I've always tinkered with mechanical things and robots are a very interesting subject for me, The future of them and the potential future if humanity reaches a technological singularity.
Fun times are ahead!
At first it was just because as a kid, I was always immediately drawn to lions, but I always felt that the whole "regal and brave" thing was annoyingly inaccurate the way I saw them.
But after researching a lot of their behavior, I felt even closer to them. I mean honestly: They lie around and snuggle with each other, raise their children communally, and have sex all day. x3 Not that I have the libido of a lion, thank god.
