How I became a furry?
Uhm, I remember in 7th grade, I came across this video of youtube of SilentRayvn dancing to Christmas music, and I thought "OH MY GOSH HER COSTUME IS CUTE I MUST HAVE ONE".

I was a spyro fan as a child, i got into the scalie fandom first. then by god the released the new gen of spyro and i averted my eyes as fast as i could :D...

YES, finally someone whose childhood was influenced by good, old PSX.
I, too, played Spyro the Dragon, along with Crash Bandicoot and Klonoa. Then the Internet came, then FurAffinity... then ponies... then a desire to do something myself and KA-BOOM!!!... here I am.

I wonder what happened to all the good game directors. It's like they suddenly didn't care anymore about half way through the ps2's generation. Sure there are still good games out there being made, but they don't seem to carry the charm the older games did.

Their souls were taken to the great beyond as a reward for the joy they brough upon us.
Now it's all about who has rights to what and what he/she will do with them. There still are some good games on several consoles: Nintendo rarely disappoints; many indie games are amazing, because their creators really want to give their best into those games; starting (in my opinion) from Unleashed, Sonic is getting back on top. There's still hope for gaming industry.

There will always be hope. They're trying to come back, but a lot of the companies have either disappeared or are struggling. Nintendo and Capcom seem to be the most consistent so far on releasing decent games. They both have their problems though: Nintendo seems to be stuck with the title family friendly company and Capcom has a habit for not localizing chunks of their many series. Indie game companies seem to be picking up where the main companies drop off in quality. Most of the popular ones, like Mojang, seem to focus more on the gameplay and mechanics rather than the looks unlike the big name companies for the most part.

Well, I was seeing stuff all over the internet and was really interested in nekos, and next thing I was doing was drawing anthros without even really knowing what they were and THEN. My cousin saw and gave me a task of drawing a werewolf in a public swimming area inside a gym and draw blood and guts everywhere. (This was during my one aunt's wedding. 8D)

From there, when I was going to go to my first college, he then introduced me to here, but I didn't really post any art because I was busy with trying to find a real job and stuff. Then I joined a furry role-play called Twisted Furry Pack Reborn, and they got me into drawing AND YEAH. That is when I officially became a furry. c:

So, uh, when I was about... ten or twelve... I was on a petsite. There was a debate about furries there and I went to look at it because a person I greatly admired was in the debate and I wanted to know what was important enough to get THEM to even look at that forum.
I learned a few things about furries, and entered the chat just to ask questions about what a furry is.
This person messaged me privately to discuss without ruining the debate thread, introduced me to the fandom. This person is, to this day, a damn good friend of mine.

I became a furry cus on DA someone messaged me telling me, "YIFF IN HELL FURFAG!" Not understanding 2 of 4 words in that sentence I used Wikipedia to figure out if I was insulted or not. Curious even more I suddenly remembered one of my friends said they were quitting DA and joining FA so I followed along and just joined the fandom. :3

I never became a furry. I just like mythological creatures like centaurs, harpies, and fauns. I like other mythological creatures too like qirins/kirins, dragons, unicorns, gryphons/griffins, phoenixes, pegasi, if it exists I probably like it, etc...

I had an anthro character when I was really young but it was more of a way to hide my lack of anatomy knowledge and skills. If they were half animal I didn't have to follow human anatomy exactly so everyone could shut up about how humans don't bend that way....CATS DO! SO, HA! (I was 7)
