Hey guys! I know a lot of you RP. Well, there's no better place to network with other RPers than the RPRepository. Even if you don't do any RPing on-site, it's still a great place to store your character information! Creating groups and pages are really easy and you can pick from a staggering number of awesome layouts for your characters. You can also create RP groups with your own forums, private or public, in just a few clicks.
A lot of cool stuff is being rolled out in 2013, too. RPR's third birthday just rolled by, and with it came the splendid RP Finder! This tool lets you propose ideas for RPs or browse through other peoples' ideas--and it guarantees they've been active in the past ten minutes.
The community is also wicked friendly and there are lots of opportunities for artists as well! So take a peek!

I wouldn't mind doing some map building, but I would also use an RPG maker of some sort to try that with
Though I prefer the live action in Furcadia and the like.... Hnn.
And I dunno when you played last, but in the past couple years they added a TON of functionality to making and scripting maps, like per-vistor variables (strength, HP, whatever you want), strings, effects layers... it's wicked.

I do like the functionality of it, but I like... visualizing what's happening a lot more than having a partially set image in front of me. That, and I tend to RP as a human than having fur on me, soo.... =D
...Dang it, now I wanna' RP :P
