The neverending cover

Also called "poor Federico...". I'd love to tell you how "The Quest for Fun" #8 cover is born... to prove the patience of Federico and how picky I am sometimes.
The cover I'm speaking about is this one:

He did a different cover at first. This:

The girls light flashed by Zandria suspended over the Ziqqurat (pyramid) ... but I didn't like that, so Federico. We wewren't satisfied at all by the whole composition:
so I suggested him to show Zandria instead, suspended by tenctacles over the ziqqurat. here's the preliminary sketch:

Still I didn't like that too. The characters were too small to me for a cover and Zandria too distant. "Please, draw Zandria nearer, like she's gonna be thrown towards us by the moster, swinging her... no need to draw all the other girls. Here we have too many characters all of them too far and small to catch the details..."

Ok I liked this the most. "Good job Federico, that's perfect... just what I had in mind, you can ink it! :)"

Me: "er... Federico, i don't like the black small legs, they're too in perspective, too small and distant compared to her body... "
Federico: ".... ok, I'll also fix here neck too, I don't like how the head is attached." thinking: "(I'm gonna definitely kill her some day.)"

Sillyness aside, great job on the cover, Federico!
But the cover looks grand.
...and yeah, I still need to draw Zandria. ^_^
also your website only completely loaded after I used netscape (after ie, opera and firefox). but now I can see your page ^_~
your site works - but it needs some time for loading completely. if all loaded it works faultless.
