a private exchange that turned passive agressive because i didnt want to "play" and what hurt is they were suposed to be a "friend" people trying to keep on suggesting i let things ive already said i didn't want in, on the forum and just... lots of people not respecting my right to say no, and not respecting my decisions. its frusterating sometimes and sadly the people i want to read this probably never will.

Did anything more happen when I left the livestream yesterday?

I think some people have some nerve to can't do it themselves. I'm sorry about your situation.

Eh im mostly venting, some so-called friends proved to me they weren't because instead of respecting my stance on an issue they decided to hem haw on me back and forth about it untill i basically just had to start ignoring them. this isn't just recently either, ive had to deal with this crap from my own "flesh and blood" I dont play the passive agressive games and i tend to see red whenever i see someone even DARE to do that in a private exchange. its like 'dude... you should damned well know better."

*sighs* I really wish people would understand the meaning of that two-letter word BEFORE things like vent journals or hammer attacks happen *hides a well-used sledgehammer*

Too many good communities are ruined because someone can't stand up and say no. someone always has to be the authority, and too often that authority sees their creation fair because of a lack of boundaries.

And too often, people like us don't applaud you for putting up those boundaries.

Unfortunately, a distressing number of people need to relearn English, and the definition of wordings such as you described.

Ack. Yeah, I've found that tends to be a problem: people who want something think they are entitled to it, and any possible provider of that something has no 'right' to refuse them. Any scenario, any desire. I want = You must provide, in their narcissistic worldview.

And most times, there is no way to get the message through to them that no, you are not a want-dispenser. No matter how many buttons they push, you are not obligated to fulfill their wish. Sorry, no djinni here.
