Commission Info

If you'd like to commission me, please contact me via note! But first...
**Please read the following Terms of Service:**
Digital Artwork: All commissioned pieces will be digital and created at 300 pixels per inch for printing purposes. If, for whatever reason, you want a piece with fewer pixels per inch just let me know and I will create your commission to fit your desire for a lower resolution.
Use of Finished Artwork: The artwork I provide is for personal use only. If you're interested in doing something commercial with the finished piece (for example, selling copies of it or items with the artwork on it), we will need to discuss this and come to an arrangement.
Email: You need to have an email account so that I can send you progress pictures, as well as the finished artwork. Alternatively, if you prefer, I will post the artwork on this site for you to download, then take it back down when you've finished.
Payment: I accept payment via PayPal. Please don't pay me until we've discussed your commission! I ask that you please pay half the full price of the final piece to me before I begin working, with the other half due upon receiving the finished artwork. If you aren't sure if you'll be able to afford the artwork when it's completed, I ask that you please wait to commission me until you are certain that you will be able to afford the finished piece. When you do pay for your art, please make your payment to fuyu.oleander@gmail.com and let me know ahead of time what your PayPal name is so that I know who the payment is from.
Canceling Your Commission: Should you decide to cancel your commission after I have started work on it, please be aware that I will keep a quarter of the full price of the final piece as compensation for the time and effort I have already put into working for you. If you change your mind and decide to cancel the commission before I have started working on it, then you will receive a full refund.
Waiting Period: How long you will have to wait to receive your finished artwork will depend upon the size of the finished piece, the degree of detail you have asked for, and where your piece is in the commissions list. Those who are higher up on the list have priority over those lower on the list, because those higher on the list commissioned their artwork sooner than those farther down the list. For a very rough estimate of how long it will take to receive your finished art, start with a week, then add one more for each person ahead of you on the list. It's unlikely you will have to actually wait that long, but it's better to overestimate than underestimate in this case. Feel free to request an actual estimate of when I think you can expect your commission to be finished at any time.
Progress Pictures: I will send you progress pictures at the sketch stage, the final lines stage, and the colored stage. In addition to these, please feel free to request a progress picture at any time. Please note me and/or send me an email if you'd like one. With each progress picture, I will ask you to review it and then notify me of any changes you'd like made before I continue. This is so that your artwork turns out as close to what you want it to be as possible.
If you do not wish to receive progress pictures via email, I'll be more than happy to post a single image in my scraps that will get updated as I make progress on your picture. I'll also delete this picture after you've seen it, if you'd prefer. The same goes for the finished image. I'll also be happy to re-post or resend the image for you, should you so desire.
Permission to Post Finished Artwork: It is up to you whether or not your finished piece will appear in any of my online art galleries. If I do post it, if you so desire, it will be at a lower resolution or smaller size than the actual finished artwork, and in certain cases will be censored.
Subject of Commission: I am willing to draw almost anything. Some of the things I am not willing to draw include, but are not limited to, hateful art (this is art which, to quote deviantART, "strongly implies and encourages violent acts against any ... individuals or groups"), vomit, feces, and any sort of fetish art which involves any of those things or children. Please do not ask for those sorts of things, as I will never even consider drawing them.
References and Details While you are not under any obligation to do so, providing references and details about what you would like me to draw, especially in the case of original characters, is greatly appreciated and will help me to create a better work of art for you.
Please see my Commission Info tab for information about prices.
