Commission/Auction/Machati-Art RULES! [updated 5/2017]

I only give out my Paypal once the inquiry is all figured out between us :)
Rules when paying me, and working with me in general:
1. I only accept Payment through Paypal, USD currency only.
2. Upon paying me through paypal please, if you intend on writing a Paypal note then please do not mention the commission or what the commission is of. You can write something like "here you go!" or "this is [your username here]"
3. Upon paying me PM me on Furaffinity to tell me you sent the payment as to keep your payment from possibly getting confused with someone else's commission that may have costed the same amount.
4. Please supply a reference sheet, image or description of your character(s).
5. When giving me a url to your character's ref, please do not delete the link until the commission is completed. I do not save refs to my computer, and will undoubtedly ask for the reference to be uploaded again.
6. Try to keep refs only to what I need/what is accurate to the character. If a ref is purely to show "use this kind of hairstyle" or "this is the only accurate ref I have of his back markings" then PLEASE say so! If no context is given, I will assume ALL the refs are correct to the character, even if they are not consistent.
7. If there is a deadline you have in mind for the commission (ex. birthday) then please inform me, preferably BEFORE you pay! I may need at least a 3 week notice, and I will only accept 1 - 2 hard deadlines at a time.
8. I do not normally issue refunds. Please be patient and understanding, and if there are any inaccuracies made in the design, I will do my best to correct them.
FETISH/WHAT I'LL DRAW ADULT-WISE RULES:
I will not draw the following fetishes:
1. Cub/loli/shota; no underaged characters.
WHAT ISN'T UNDERAGED: adults wearing diapers or otherwise roleplaying as if they're kids; paraphilic infantilism.
2. Scat. Watersport is a grey-zone; depends on the commission.
3. Clop (MLP porn).
4. Rape/Glorification of rape; this includes anything falling under date rape.
WHAT ISN'T RAPE: characters roleplaying (consenting) sexually, BDSM. Hypnosis is a grey-zone, depends on the commission.
5. Non-sentient bestiality; no feralxanthro, feralxhuman, feralxferal unless the character is capable of complex thought, reasoning, and capable of giving consent. They can still life a normal animal kind of life, wear leashes, etc, but expect all characters drawn by me to have eyebrows/expressions/other sentient anthropomorphism.
6. Cheating/Glorification of cheating.
WHAT ISN'T CHEATING: Polyamory/polygamy, orgies, or cuckolding in which all parties are consenting.
7. Anything that enforces a stereotype/'bad rap' for an existing religion, species/breed, ethnicity, sexuality, etc.
8. Non-fictional celebrities/live-action portrayed characters in general (ie. no Johnny Depp or Jack Sparrow).
9. Please do not ask me to draw anything illegal where you live, and please be aware of Furaffinity rules.
10. I can and will draw gore but honestly you'd probably be better off asking a more experienced/specialized artist in that field...
Auction Rules:
1. Any rules or conditions posted directly on the individual auction that contradicts with the rules stated here overwrites the rule(s) stated here (where it applies). Some auctions may have exceptions to my normal rules.
2. Please do not withdraw bids. Please be confident in your decision upon bidding.
3. You MUST pay within 72 hours (3 days) of winning an auction. Failure to do so will result in it being sold to the runner up.
*NOTE: As with refunds PLEASE be certain upon bidding. If you fail to pay then I WILL blacklist you!
4. Please be aware of the possible genders in my YCH auctions. Do not bid with the intention of using a female character if the slot says "male only". Please do not complain if you win and put your lesbian character in a YCH and the other slot(s) are filled by men if the slots clearly had that possibility.
General Adoptable Rules:
1. Once you have bought the design, it is yours. You are allowed to edit the design in any way you'd like. Change its sex/gender, sexuality, name, colors, species--whatever!
2. Once you have bought the design, should you grow tired of it or regret your choice, you are welcome to resell or give away the design. However do not claim that you drew the image I drew as your creation. Please do not lose the information that I drew the image.
3. If you do not want to resell the design and would like to give it back to me I will not be giving you a refund. I tend not to sell the same design twice so the design will likely just collect dust with me. Just so you know.
4. If you'd like to have the design you bought edited by me then I will not do it for free. We will discuss the price and it will depend largely on how time-consuming I expect the editing to be.
5. Once you have bought the design, I will change the image to say that the design © [your name]. If you would like a bigger .png file emailed to you (or submitted to FA) just ask. If you would like the .PSD file just ask. I hold onto PSD files as long as possible to it's likely never too late to ask for it either :)
FAQs:
Q: How long is your Queue List right now? Where is my commission on it?

Q: I'm in your queue for a commission and then you changed your commission prices! Does that apply to me?
A: No.
Q: You skipped my commission in the queue!
A: Sometimes I will hop around my list if I feel inspiration for a particular commission. In other case I may want to warm up or study the subject a little before approaching the commission (ex. if I'm given a new kind of species to draw).
Q: I just won an YCH auction of yours but your commission list is long, will it take a while before my auction piece is complete?
A: Probably not. I consider it as a perk of Auctions that they'll be done quickly (though please understand if this is a big auction piece that it'll take a while anyways). That said, I also won't ignore my commission list either so you'll likely see commissions completed inbetween auction progress.
Q: I'm into a fetish/fandom a lot of people consider taboo, will you still draw it?
A: If your fetish is not listed in my above 'won't do' list, then it's probably acceptable. Even if it's taboo, or 'crazy', or whatever. However there are indeed fetishes I might be overlooking, so feel free to ask. If I do not consider the fetish something I am willing to do then I will reject the offer politely.
Q: How often do you work on Commissions/Auctions? It seems like you've slowed lately.
A: I have work days and days specifically picked as 'days off' that generally match my husband's schedule, so these days may change from time-to-time. If I have been slow as of late then assume that I'm either sick or injured, I am an unlucky person x_x
Q: Can I talk to you on Skype?
A: I do not take commission info on skype, and in general I am not a very talkative person on skype... However you are welcome to ask for my skype if you just want someone to chitchat with some time-to-time.
Q: Can I commission you to design a character for me?
A: At the moment, I am not accepting commissions like this, sorry. I don't know how to price these fairly, but you are welcome to attempt 'bribing' me into one of these commissions if you'd like. Honestly I would probably advise picking an artist more experienced in designing existing characters like this.
Q: I've commissioned you but I've changed my mind about what I want! Can we change the commission?
A: Generally speaking; yes. If I'm already started on the commission I may be less willing, especially if it deletes hours of hard work. This is no problem however if I'm still in the sketching/early lining phase. So feel free to ask!
