Whew! #passes out* x.x

So yeah I just beat Metal Gear Rising for the first time, and holy fuck talk about a hard game! The final boss in particular is a fucking endurance test. I won't spoil anything in case anyone reading this hasn't played it, but its one of those multiple phase bosses that gets progressively more OP and batshit insane. One part in particular requires quickly cutting objects being thrown at you in a particular way or your dead meat. Even less fun is a part where you just need to not die and avoid the boss for 2 min...something that the game doesn't tell you. Fortunately a certain bunny had played it already and told me that. ^^

Maybe it would have helped if I didn't realize there was a lock on button until Marbles pointed it out (maybe I'm just spoiled and expect the game to do that automatically during boss fights) and if the game only gave me more health when it deigned to do so...which was almost never.

Overall it's an enjoyable game and I'd recommend at least trying it out. There are some pretty cool set pieces and slicing up dudes into a million pieces is fun.
