I have an opposite situation! I have a few ideas but because I can't draw it takes many hours for them to appear on "paper". And with classes and work on my head I can't afford to spend several hours doodling

I'll start with the disclaimer that I can't draw to save my life, but I do write and I've run into similar situations. I'm sort of a cinema junkie, personally, so one of the ways I'll address it is I'll go on tangents with weird movies- something like surrealism (a personal favorite), or Korean action cinema, or 80/90s arthouse flicks. Watching people present new ideas in innovative ways has helped me to see something I'm working on in a different light and sometimes in the development of conceptual frameworks.
Hope it helps. Tracking down that muse can be problematic.
