Arrgh... Roomie(s) wanted. <Personal>
Seems my current roomie is probably moving out. Ugh.
So I'll have 2 rooms in a 3 BR apartment available in Durham, NC in the near future. Rent is split equally between folks, so if just 1 person moves in, it's aprox $700 + utilities; 2 folks, aprox $400ish each + utilities. (Bills are shown openly so it's easy to calculate for yourself what's up.)
Anyone in the community in the Raleigh/Durham/RTP, NC area looking for a place?
Some notes:
- 3br apartment in the WoodfieldCreekstone community (http://www.woodfieldcreekstone.com/). Brand-new and very nice for the price-point. Easy access to 40 and both Durham and Raleigh with a short drive.
- Pet friendly. I do have a dog, a border collie. She is a bit skittish as she was abused by a prior owner and will bark at someone (particularly someone male) she doesn't know. Once she gets to know someone (meaning you have to spend time with her for this to happen - hiding in your room doesn't help her get to know you!) she's quite friendly, but till then everyone is scary to her. She's a big chicken, despite her barking.
- Basic Cable and internet is included in the rent package. I have upgraded the internet to a higher tier package however.
- Trash is Valet and picked up nightly except Fri and Sat.
- Water is added into the rent bill.
- Electricity is a separate utility bill.
- Parking is usually pretty good. I have yet to have to park away from my building at all.
- Have to pass a credit-check through the apartment complex and all occupants must be on the lease.

First it was a pleasure to meet you, if ever so breifly, at the art jam. Sara and I usually spend longer but ere tied up last night.
regarding your post though, what time frame are you looking for room mates?
Assuming there's no major change of plans on my end, it could be immediately. The one bedroom has been empty since move-in, just decided to post that a few weeks ago to see if there's any interest out there.
We're just starting to look for our next location and are considering all options now.
I'd love to discuss it further sometime.
As it stands right at this moment, I'm looking at 1 room available.
However, if there's definitive interest the Master bedroom may be available as well.
We can certainly discuss it.
