Looks like it might take some trial and error for those of us who haven't even touched animation.
Solid read though. :D
but my tablet is only in the stage of being able to use the eraser part...Ill wait to use this guide and do animation's when I get a better tablet <3333
thanks so much for this tutorial, it's amazing and so simple :DDD
a good start point for AE aspirants is this site with tons of tutorials: www.videocopilot.net
I learned all the basics I got from there :)
:O
Also I've found that you can do all the separating of the picture in AE if need be. Photoshop makes it easier but if your limited it can be all AE based.
do you separate the whole picture right in AE? but do you paint the hidden parts right on AE as well? tell me more about it lol
I feel like I would enjoy talking more on this with you.
Note me and we could skype or something? :D
I'll definitely try it out and send a link when I have time off from work. ^.=.^;
though the animation technique may variate a bit, but the principles are the same
anyway, I've found this tutorial a while ago: http://www.foro3d.com/f232/using-bl.....tos-77446.html
hope it helps you
Any chance that you might make a sound tutorial?
But its one of the things I'd personally would like to do better with on my flashes.
;__; ded.
It reads animting
Lets just say I diddn't spend very long on the cover
Just lending some thought ^^
Also, your character is extremely adorable in the panels. D8
Still, thats 24 pictures.
Too sad I'm absolutely dumb for flash, BUT I maybe know the man...
With these tutorials, maybe I will accomplish my devilish plan...
Soon...
(Just kiddin' HAHA. Or... not?)
I'm here at phase 10 and that's where I get a bit lost, Are you parenting null objects to your body pieces, each to his own group(like hand+arm), or are you parenting them between null objects ? (my brain can't resolve correctly this answer apparently_y...)
The rest shouldn't pose to much trouble, if I understood it right. The null objects will be keyed instead of the pin points am I right ?)
Thanks for your tutorial, help, and time. There, take a drink
*Going back to work* oh and take another one if you want *gives*
Thank you Jasonafex for helping me and giving us this tutorial.
If someone is having problems you can always ask, I might be able to help. ^^
*Go back to his room. Now I need to practice more to do better animations!*
Kidding, hey really nice of you to share your knowledge like this, it looks very in depth! Cool to see the process you go through. ^^
I only wish I had seen this earlier. Very nice job explaining it! Got a couple small things that'll definitely help me in the long run!
Your always an insperation, Jason!
A free one would be ideal, I have tried to download Blender but it always give me the not responding error.
Which is strange, since I was told I got the whole adobe package and after effects shouldn't be missing
Do you know a link where I can download this programme then?
Thanks a bunch!
Would you say they used this method or something similar?
Thank you very much for this learning resource! It is very much appreciated!
and as far as sfx go, do you get samples from somewhere or are they completely made by you?
This is exactly what I was looking for!
Thank you Very much, Jason!
Out of curiosity, about how long does it take you to animate an image this way? Just on average?
I will giving this a Try as soon as i Can x3
By the way, I noticed that the images of both page 12 and 13 say "Page 12". Which unfortunately make the following page numbers behind. D: Just thought I'd let you know in case it could confuse somebody .
And looks links are dead now, so could you refresh them?
