In my opinion I do not think so. First off furry is a hobby and fantasy so most of us are not into bestiality in real life. That being said I am sure there are "furs" out there that are into it in real life, but to label a whole group of people with one broad brush stroke is a dangerous thing. I would venture to say the majority of furs are not into bestiality.

Furries are people who want to be animals/hybrids so I don’t think it technically counts seeing as furries are all categorised under the same thing. Although the fascination of correct animal genitals does close the gap, but I think that’s more a culture thing of the community more than anything.
I could be wrong though; bestiality is when one species has sex with a different species.

Well, I hate speaking for groups I'm not a part of, but I'm pretty sure most furries are also turned on by humans alone, without the animals. Firstly, furryporn can be zoophilia, that is not off the table, but I'd argue that it isn't all that. Firslty, repetition stops arousal. Watching the same porn over and over again will eventually get boring. So you switch it up. This is why people spend time looking for new porn videos instead of watching the same ones over and over again.
Furry porn is a huge change. It's a fetish. The animal aspect is a new change that some people feel a natural attraction to new ways of portraying a human body type. With animal features. It's not that they're attracted to animals, it's that the radical change of portrayal of a human body is pleasing and exciting to the brain. Human porn most likely turns on the majority of furries, but furry porn is different and sparks arousal. They aren't attracted to animals, just the different way of portraying humans. And the addition of animal features to a human structure isn't enough to register with the brain as a recreation of that animal, say a dog. Rather, an addition of features to a human that the brain finds pleasing.
For example, some guys prefer boobs, some guys prefer butts. Some guys don't like furry porn, some guys do. Anthropomorphism isn't just contained with furries, it permeates into most things. We just like seeing things that aren't human portrayed as attractive humans, because it's a new perspective and adds different traits. Our brain follows patterns. If it looks like a human, its interpreted as a human, and the differences could be a means of arousal in people who have exhausted "regular porn" to the point that they want something new.

Consider a dominatrix. Would you say they're turned on by violence, insults, etc.? No, they are aroused by dominance. Violence and humiliation are mediums through which the feeling of dominance is attained.
We're not splitting hairs here, we're just looking beyond the surface.
I would say furries are a trickier area simply because it seems so specific. It is entirely possible that a furry could have zoophilia or a suppressed version that they express safely through furryness. I wouldn't say that a majority feel that way though. It's hard for me to speak for them, but I would bet they may also just enjoy the social taboo, the weirdness, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if many furries had other fetishes that provided similar feelings.
The main reason I disagree with you is that you seem to be taking things at face value rather than looking towards what's going on in the brain of the person.

ive always thought of furries as entirely different species. kind of like aliens and such. not to mention the furry fantasy species, like dragons and such. bestiality would appear to be only with a sentient being, with a non--sentient being, in sexual intercourse.

Well in my opinion they are very different because furries are humans who act in an animal way and any sex that takes place is still between two human beings which are sentient beings.But bestiality is a sentient being taking and forcing an animal to have sex with them which is just plain wrong

There's a bigger overlap than a lot of furries care to admit; and that does cause some drama.

I feel like Furry is different only because beastiality is defined as a human and an animal. I would consider that furry isn't the same since it's basically like only personifying the animals instead of a person having coitus with them. (Thanks sheldon cooper for coitus xD)

The point about sentience is a good one, though that's not the only thing. Social position is an aspect, large power imbalances between the two involved in the act. Related to sentience, whether all the parties fully understand what's going on, and whether all parties can be sure all the others fully understand.

Animals have ALL those problems.

Furries as fantasy creatures don't have any of those problems. If they were real on the same terms as the fantasy, they wouldn't have those problems and sex between humans and furries, or between different furry species, would not be an ethical problem, because it would be sentient, fully-communicating equals doing things they all have full understanding of and consent to.

Having fantasies about problem sexual behaviors like bestiality.. I don't judge as long as it doesn't become real. The idea of incest between made-up characters is pretty hot, for instance, even though the thought of doing that with my actual family members grosses me way out, and there are other problems with actual incest that don't relate to bestiality.

It does make me uneasy that bestiality has carved out a hideaway in furry though, and that some have argued for acceptance of actual activity with animals within furry. It makes sense that furry would be appealing to zoophiles, due to all the animal symbolism, but I don't think furry itself has some hidden bestiality agenda at its core, and it doesn't look good for the furry community that practicing zoophiles have a definite presence here.
