Well, Morphicon was a week ago and I have finally uploaded all my artwork. So here's a post con report for it.

Thursday
Myself,  hysterium and  Aslan7 all arrived way too early to do anything but check in. We checked in and then Hysterium and I went and watched the people moving stuff in for the convention. After that, Hysterium and I kicked around the pre-con space a little until some people were starting a game of Arkham Horror. Just the base game and the King in Yellow expansion. And we played against Hastur. Oh god. We got really lucky. 8 f-ing clue tokens to seal a place. We basically had a monster surge 2nd round. I was sucked into the portal the minute it opened and only by using a Gate Box was I able to not appearify in the middle of a crowd of 6 monsters. But we got really lucky in that about 2 rounds after we had a monster surge, we had a "all monsters return to the cup." pull. And then the next round lowered the number of clue tokens by 2 so it was a fun game, albeit a little unchallenging.

Friday
I sat in the Artist Alley for most of the day. I managed to slip away for commissioning  KaeMantis and  PocketWolverine Me and  ScottishWolf bantered back and forth all day. After a long day of sales and stuff, Hysterium, myself,  MalkavianPranks (AKA Sliss), KaeMantis,  Lizsan, and PocketWolverine all went to BD's Mongolian BBQ for dinner. Holy crap! This may become a thing. We had lots of fun and it was so wonderful to hang out with awesome artists and boy did I get to hear stories.... Better figure out who was telling said stories and what but I'm not telling.

Saturday
I was late getting to the alley, not sleeping well. But I had the fun of commissioning  Zim-Gekko and  BushyCat. Today I also had to run my Rodents SIG (Special Interest Group) and go to the Homestuck Panel. Hell yeah, I'm a homestuck fan. Prince of Mind here! The Rodents SIG was quiet this year, only like 6 people, but the Homestuck panel was lots of fun. I was quite a fanatic but nothing compared to some. I realized that 2 of my 3 roommates didn't have a SIG this year so next year I'm thinking of running an Exotics SIG, for the martails, and the elephants, and the non-dragon lizards, and the other ones that don't fall into canines, felines, rodents, dragons, etc. This was also the day for the GoH dinner. Holy crap. All you can eat fried chicken, pot roast which was awesome, sweet potato fries, and pulled pork with cake for desert. It was amazing compared to years before. I give kudos to the chefs and the hotel. After this, my roommates Hysterium and Sliss and I decided what to do for custom Black and White cards for Cards Against Humanity. We came up with brain breakers and stole a couple from the "Pretend You're Xyzzy" people. A couple examples are "What the f*** is wrong with you?" and "_____. Australian for _____." for black cards and "Betty White", "David Bowie's Package" and "Hillary Clinton's Chili-Farts" for white cards. The Spectacle of Doom! happened. It was uneventful this year. Not disgusting or disturbing but just meh. It didn't push envelopes. It didn't make me go "Whoo." I got a 45 minute event of something that should be about an hour and 15 minutes. I guess I'm a bit disappointed with it. But I found out why it wasn't necessarily the silly mess it should have been.

Sunday
Sunday was kind of a wind down day. Managed to sell a variety of juggling balls (including a 3 set) and had lots of fun reading our custom Cards Against Humanity cards to the Artist Alley and nearly making people go "WTF?!?" We also had fun hanging out with people and things. Then myself, Hysterium, Sliss,  gravewalker, and  Ryoku7 all went to Buca di Beppo. We had WAY too much food ordered. It was so worth it though to have fun with people. After that, I hung out with the artists in the Artist Crash Zone (AKA Factory Square in the hotel) because the artist alley room was closed. I did a couple of trades and showed my roommate, Hysterium, how to make a chainmaille juggling ball (not that I'm gonna let him pick it up completely because I don't need competition. Bwahahaha.)

Monday
We left Morphicon for Cinci. So totally worth the trip. We stopped at Tee Jay's for breakfast since Hysterium hadn't had it. And that was my post-con report.
