Commission ToS
            Revised 15 May 2013
Terms of Service
Everything listed in this ToS is subject to change. Your commission is not affected if I accepted it prior to the update.

Subject Matter
- I will draw:
Anything clean
Anything animal-y, preferably quads and bipedal
Fan characters
Cute couple stuff
- I will not draw:
Humans
Anthros that really lean toward being human. Like they have more human-like faces.
Anything explicit (nudity, sex, etc etc)
Most fetishes (contact me to ask if you have questions)
Robots, cars, mechanical things, stuff that are shiny, have lots of parts, or have sharp or incredibly smooth edges
- I'm best at drawing:
Furry things, namely canines
More feral looking characters
Stuff that looks good in my gallery
Required Information
- A visual reference is greatly preferred. If not, either provide a detailed written description or I’ll keep hounding you for all the details I need before I start.
- A general idea of what you want the commission to look like such as a pose or expression. Like “cute happy bunny eating a carrot.” If you don’t, then I may either get their personality wrong or just make a boring, even more generic pose.
- The type of art you’d like such as sketch, lineart, bust shot, etc. If you don’t see me offer it, ask and maybe I’ll do it! I probably don’t offer it specifically because I either don’t have time for it or I just don’t have good examples and I don’t feel like making one.
Pricing and Payment
- I only accept USD through paypal.
- Actual prices are subject to change and will be posted in another document.
- For anything less than $30, please expect to pay in full before I begin your commission.
- Anything above $30 will be half up front and the rest after the client approves the sketch.
- Very complex designs may be subject to extra charges. I’ll let you know beforehand!
- You are given two chances to modify your commission once I’ve already begun drawing it. After that, $5+ for each change depending on how extensive the modification is and when it is during the process.
- Once we've agreed upon a commission, send me your e-mail and I'll give you an invoice. I'll get started after payment is received!
Communication
- Either note or e-mail me ( noodlebyte[at]gmail.com ), but keep in mind that the noting system is apparently iffy on properly sending/receiving notes so e-mail is most likely more reliable.
- I will give updates on the status of the commission, either in a journal, through e-mail/notes, or on my front page, at least three times: one for starting the sketch, one for completing the sketch, and one for completion of the commission. If I have any other questions regarding design, colors, etc. I will contact you.
- You will have two chances to change anything about your commission, but only one of those chances can be used after the commission is completed and it must not be an extensive modification, e.g., background change, pose change, or style change.
- For an example change during the sketch phase you can request a different sketch, an added small design, different expression, etc.
- Examples for when I’ve already completed the commission are changing colors, minor changes to style, or an added object/prop that does not affect the overall pose. This is up to my discretion and will be discussed before any approval.
- Anything past the two changes will be charged an extra fee which is specified in the Pricing and Payments section.
- Also once you approve the final image you cannot come back later for a modification on said image.
- If this part is confusing, let me know and I’ll happily clarify! This is probably unnecessarily lengthy, but I feel like it’s one of those “just in case” sort of things.
Cancellations and Refunds
- I will not be giving out refunds unless I believe I can no longer complete your commission in a timely manner due to life events, school, work, emergencies, or an act of God.
- Conversely, you can request one if it’s been two months since your payment and if your commission hasn’t been completed. This does not, however, guarantee a refund, but I’m pretty reasonable.
- For a possible full refund, I must not have started the commission at all.
- For a partial refund, I would have already begun the sketch, begun outlining, or begun coloring. How much you will get back will depend on how much of the commission I have completed already. So if I have already completed the sketch, I will keep the amount that I usually charge for sketches and you’ll be given the rest. This will be discussed beforehand.
- You cannot request a refund once I’ve already completed and/or given the piece of art to you.
- You cannot cancel a commission once you’ve given payment. Refer above if you would like to consider trying for refund.
Usage
- You may not use my commissioned art commercially or for resale.
- You may not claim the artwork as your own.
- I will not claim whatever subject matter is in the artwork as my own.
- Once you’ve gotten the okay from me (I’ll most likely say yes 100% of the time), you may post it on a personal website or page, but you must link back to one of my accounts (tumblr, FA, or DA) and explicitly say it was drawn by whatever account you listed.
- I reserve the right to post the artwork on my personal websites and possibly use it as future commission examples unless you explicitly request me not to.
