Equestria Girls Trailer!!

PLEASE tell me I'm not the only one who is excited as hell for this!

Despite all the negative things people have been saying about it, I think it looks adorable.
The characters are cute
The animation looks nice
Promise of lots of awkward Twilight Sparkle
Possible love interest for Twilight!
Sunset Shimmer, Celestia's old student, playing the villain
AH! I can't wait to see this!

People have been SUPER PISSED since the concept for this was leaked a while ago. And their anger has only grown since then. Seriously, read the comments on ANY Equestria Girls article on Equestria Daily. You'll find for every positive comment is about 30 negative ones.
Which is funny coming from a bunch of grown adults who watch a little girl's show to begin with and constantly preach "Love and Tolerance" xD
XD
Apparently it's too girly for them. As if talking chubby pastel ponies WEREN'T girly already! xD
And I think the movie deserves an honest try. It's made by the SAME people who do the show. You would think that would be incentive enough to at least give it a chance.
Especially now that this trailer is out! It looks as though it's the same quality as the show and the plot sounds interesting. Old student of Celestia playing the villain and Twilight stepping into an alternate dimension, gaining the help of people who remind her of her friends? I think it sounds promising given the other quality episodes we've gotten.
;p
I'm not going to be the 28 year old guy sitting in a theater full of little girls
XD
While I'm still not fond of the idea of this, I will still give a watch to see how it is. Only then will I have a solid opinion.
Just keep in mind, it's made by the same people who work on the ponies we all know and love. They made us love colorful talking horses and I'm sure they can pull this off too.
Those bronies can be a handful!
But, like all other pony shows meant for selling toys, it has a good plot and the same animation and voice quality.
Oh, I'll still watch it. Anything I had resembling a social life was my sacrifice to the altar of science, so I have nothing better to do on Saturdays. But... eh. I'm just not as excited.
And yes, I realize exactly how hypocritical this is, coming from a 19 year old who watches a show about talking magical horsies.
