Updates and things people might want to know
12 years ago
Well, at the moment I'm caught up with commissions.
I still have some other work I want to finish, including drawing for myself a bit.
I'm going to update on a few things here...
1. MOVING
I'm actually very excited. This is probably the first time in years I've moved without it having to do with escaping something stressful/having nowhere else to go. And I've moved a LOT in the last 4 years. Flarexd's family is moving, and I'm going with them. They got a good deal on a really nice house. Lots of space. We've been sleeping on a twin bed in our current room for 2 years because there was no room for anything bigger. It'll be nice to have more space!
From what I've heard, we should be out of this place before July.
2. CUSTOM PHYSICAL STUFF
I'm probably not going to do custom messenger bags, totebags, or buttons until August- or maybe even September. Partly because of the move- and buying supplies online is a bad idea when you're getting ready to switch addresses. I intend to price the bags at $30(for the turn buckle bag) and $50(for the messenger bag) and that's ~before~ the art commissioned on it. If people are still interested, I will probably go through with it late July at the earliest. I'm going to need to get settled after Anthrocon, and will also probably stick with digital art before getting crazy in post office land. The exception is pandaman06's custom- we already discussed the details of that. I might use up the rest of the supplies I already have making other things.
3. BRONZE ARTIST
Okay, I've given lots of thought to the Iron artist thing, and sense finally kicked in and told me that going in knee-deep as better than rushing in over my head here. Before going iron artist, I want to try bronze- AND SOON! I just want some time to myself before I start it up. I think the 22nd of May is a good point to start, since my dentist/doctors appointments will be out of the way then. We'll see what happens! I want to do this to try build up extra funds for a new mattress and bedframe.
~TL;DR: I'm moving sometime in June, I'm not going to do custom merch until late July at the unlikely earliest. I'm going to do a bronze artist to test the waters before going into an iron artist- as well as raise extra money for a new bed.
I dunno. This is just my brainwork, and nothing is truly guaranteed (as is life)- if you got any thoughts, feel free to pass them my way.

I hope you'll still be around ;_;
also are you going to AC again this year? :D
And we'll still be in the south yarmouth area. *nodnod*
And yea it's in the same town! They are buying it. Oddly it's cheaper to mortgage than to rent here... 0.0
