Sounds awfully greedy to me. Like she just wants to use you for money. Sort of messed up and not a good moral IMO. Luckily, I think you are better than that and even if your life IS problematic, you don't seem like the type to exploit it.

Based on the previous things she said it almost seems like SHE is the one who wants to get their next fix. No offense, just seems sort of wrong to say the things she has said. Also, she has no idea what the people are like on the internet is my guess.

Well if we aren't people we can't be drug addicts nor can we give you money. This sort of statement pisses me off. We are real people and across the vast internet can form a special bond. This bond is independent of race, social status, country, religion. None of that matters. It is a connection of the heart and soul if you will.

In case she fires back, I say these things as a parent. Sure you have some problems and have made some mistakes. These things happen. Family is supposed to be there to help you up when you fall and guide you to do better, not push your face in the mud.
Look, I don't know much about you, but from what little I have learned you are a decent person who at least owns up to their actions. I hope things get better for you and you get a chance to get out and see the world and do what makes you happy.
You can get older, get more wise, get more responsible, but don't ever grow up.

Since commissions are a service of artist you pay them so they draw what YOU want, still it's a service like your bus-ticket. You can't easily go and want the money back after it's used.

How amusing. Mature Furry Art features mostly anthromorphic characters which means they aren't that "animal" anymore. Also: If you really would search for real animal-porn you wouldn't be here. Drawing dicks in a colouring-book for childs is actually more immature than anything else.

Honestly: Dramas aren't that popular. As writer you won't earn a lot of money unless they buy the rights for a movie. The probability that this happens is very very low. Another advantage of the fandom: You are able to sell stories, still you won't earn lots of cash.

This is counteracting to the previous one. Without a reputation why should people give YOU (or your mother) money? This is the sadly truth that happened now. Since artists got refounded you have certainly now a bad reputation which doesn't mean you cannot fix it. It doesn't seem to be your fault.

So she knows how people on the Internet are like? Certainly there may be some artists which are addicted to cigaretts or need alcohol but I doubt that there are any artists which take extremly strong pain-medications or anesthetics for the lulz. How are they supposed to draw then?
It is normal that a part here are autistic and maybe have other mental illiness, but you cannot change the way you are born or you are made after an inicident(injury,operation,cancer,etc).

Brainwashed? I think the furry fandom doesn't base on advertisements that hard than any other products. We see stuff on television may it be food or only a car. They advertise the shit out of it and try to hype it so you buy it.
Here no artist will come to you and tell you how awesome their art is. (It never happened to me, haha) But like I told before: Commissioning is a service you need to pay. You also don't go into a shop and then scream at the cashier because "He wants to take money from you".
To the damage which is done: I'm not 100% sure about the whole sum, but I hope it does afflict a wide spectrum of artists not only single ones.
I really have doubts about the moral base of this deed. Money is of course important but it is like I said a service which is finished. By refounding the money she actually did comit an illegal act. Eventhough I'm not sure if the artists are able to sue her for that since I dunno what country you and the artists are.
Still, you will have now a complicated time here.
