Today was fairly harrowing. I expected it to be. Seeing that tiny pure white coffin was fairly hard to deal with. I feel empty and sad but calm and well confused really. Drained. Yea drained is A good word. It was sunny today and the chapel was full which was nice.
It makes me realise that sometimes life is just unfair. There's no use in complaining. That's just the way life is. You kinda just need to knuckle down and get on with it. It makes you realise that life is precious. The fact that each and everyone of us has gotten this far in life is a miracle in itself and that whilst we may complain that life isn't fair at points or feel like we are barely keeping our head above the financial water the fact that we are alive, that we are able to experience being rained on and seeing the blue sky is something we truly should be thankful for.
Today gave me a lot to reflect on and it's sad that it's only through the death of a family member that brought me back down to earth long enough to think of these things
