How to help Misora and Mom - Victims of the moore tornando
12 years ago
Update on Misora Rae and her mom. I got a hold of her sister. Right now I am told they need the following stuff: Clothes : Misora is a size 22w and size 9 shoe and were 2x-3x tops. Her mom is a size 26w and size 11 shoes and 4x to 5x tops. They do need clothes and it is hard to find good large sizes but really need it.
They also need pet food for both dogs and cats, and kitty litter. They need money for gas and toiletries. They need good work gloves and shovels and trash bags for going through there home and trying to salvage what they can and money to rent a storage unit for anything they are able to recover.
I will be attempting to deliver stuff on Thursday and if anyone has anything, I can pick it up. I have a truck now, so I can take a lot with me
I got the address of where Misora is now living, but I do not have the permission to give that out right now IF anyone wants seriously help her out, contact me privately and we'll make it happen..

Self-storage marketplace SpareFoot is offering relief to those affected by the devastating tornadoes in the Oklahoma City area. The Austin, TX-based company will donate a month of storage to businesses, families and individuals who need temporary space to store and protect their belongings in the aftermath of the tornadoes.
Just got this info in an email from our community outreach people at work, thought it could help.
Also her geckos have been found and well and I am bringing her a new tank for them
I'm actually surprised the geckos made it out, honestly, but certainly glad for it. Oh and give Misora all the love from myself and Seagull when you talk to her next.
We have some situations of our own, so we are unable to go and help directly, but we have some of the items that they're requesting. If you are able to swing by Claremore we can load some things up for you. Well, actually, we'll point and you load up---I have a busted back & can't lift, and Misty's feeling every minute of her age right now.
In particular we have a good number of large plastic bins to store items, and work gloves, trash- and keeper-bags, and a few small appliances and the like. We can also populate a small library for them, for when things get to be a bit too much. I take it they are trying to ride this out at their house's location? Is the electricity on there yet?
I am glad they have somewhere semi-local to stay. We have a couple of guestrooms but we're over 2 hrs' drive from where they need to be.
