Part 34
A: Follow Green-Cloak
You continued to stare at that one edge of the nearby roof, knowing exactly what you saw. With your instincts screaming, telling you that this green-cloaked spy was watching your training despite only catching the most fleeting glimpse of color, you decide that this time you would get the jump on him. With a quick motion, you gesture to Phiodel for him to follow you. He didn't hesitate, immediately springing to his feet and silently following close as you made your way back to the street. You refused to let Green-Cloak escape- with a running leap, you grasp onto an overhanging awning support, your light frame allowing it to stay attached to the wall as you use your momentum to quickly swing up to the roof. Immediately, you saw him- the one link to the Canids and this strange sensory suppressant that has been keeping the Hunters weak. He sensed your presence, but his body wasn't fast enough to turn to face you before your fist landed on his nose.
You refused to let him escape.
(Attention +20%)
The punch caused him to recoil for a moment, just long enough for you to look back and see if Phio was keeping up. Unfortunately, it seemed that he had gone missing- most likely he was simply too heavy for that awning and had to find another way up. Turning back, your arm shot out in reflex as the spying Felinid recovered from the punch and tried to flee. Your fingers only barely catch his tail in time and pull him back into yet another blow to the face. This time his paws cover the bruised impact points, showing that you were managing to do some damage. You throw three more punches until he finally catches your fist in his palm, suddenly aware enough to put a stop to your attack. You thrust another paw forward, but he catches this one as well. Both of your hands trapped, you bring a leg up for a sweeping kick. To your surprise however, he jumps above the attack and, using your own momentum against you, twirls his tail around your ankle to pull it aside, sending you to the ground.
Thanks once again to your honed reflexes, you thrust your hands and feet outward, greatly softening your fall to the roof and allowing you to immediately get back on your feet. Now you're mad, you unleash a flurry of punches and kicks, each one graceful and accurate as taught in the fighting style of every Wenta Hunter. Unfortunately, your attacks are matched perfectly by the unknown Felinid- fists collide with fists, each blow is either knocked away or met with one of his own. What must have been mere seconds started to feel like hours until you noticed Phiodel finally rejoining you, running at the fight from a nearby rooftop. Sadly, the Green-Cloak noticed it as well. Taking advantage of your one split second of inattentiveness, he performed a kick sweep that sent you down on your ass. You immediately tried to get back up, but upon looking, you saw his fist bearing down on you and glowing with some kind of energy.
"Defend yourself!"
Not bothering to register what he had just said, the glowing of his fists prompted you to act rather uncharacteristically... you raised your arms in front of your chest and closed your eyes, suddenly fearing for your life. Just as you think he is about to kill you, your arms suddenly start to feel stale- not like they were frozen, just stiff...
There is an explosion, and a sense of falling, but no pain...
A crash, and OW! Okay, maybe some pain. So you're not dead, then?
(-3 HP)
You open your eyes again, surprised at a few different things. One, you're in somebody's house with a giant hole in the roof. Two, the Green-Cloak is standing above you with a knife drawn and held to your neck. Three, you're seeing all of this through some kind of semi-visible "wave" that seemed to be originating from your arms. Before you could figure out what this wave was- most likely the thing that just kept you alive- you notice Phiodel abandoning all caution and jumping straight through the hole. Time seemed to slow for a moment, just long enough to silently thank Phio as he saved your life from this bastard. The lion fell feet-first on the unknown Felinid's back, causing him to fall right on top of you, in which another unexpected thing happened- both of them flew into the air and hit the ceiling upon making contact with the strange wave emitting from your arms. Seeing a chance to get ack on your feet, you immediately take it- though separating your arms causes the strange wave to disappear.
(Learned Mortal Defense: -5 MP to cast. High MP cost, but will automatically save Ana from a death blow if you have enough to cast it.)
You feel woozy upon getting to your feet, as if you were completely drained of something important. Upon watching Green-Cloak get up, you feel the sense of disorientation quickly fade away, and you rush to the front door to prevent his escape. Surrounded by broken table splinters and ruined decorations, in addition to the light of a setting sun shining through the brand new skylight, you feel that this makes as nice a place as any to stop your would-be killer. Within seconds, Phiodel is back on his feet as well, ready to stop him should he attempt an escape back onto the roof. This is it.
Time to get some damned answers.

I think we should have Phio start this off. Get the guys attention with a couple swings and a bit of teasing. With that, lets have Ana move in from behind and club the guy over the head, using a sword/strength combo. IF this guy decides to turn on Ana (As in, if he notices her), then us the opprotunity to have Phio break what appears to be his dominant arm. This will leave the guy weak, forcing him to give in or lose his life... Possibly x3
