My God... continued

Apparently the problem for the jury was Arias' lack of a criminal history. She had never done anything violent before, so slaughtering her former boyfriend was not sufficient reason to kill her.
Only some of the jury thought it was and they could not come to a decision.
Fine. I can buy that, I guess, although she seems to me to be a prime candidate for future mayhem if she'd escaped justice this time. As long as it's life without parole --and attention-- I'm fine with it. Now it's up to the prosecution to save the court a lot of time, effort and cash. All they have to do is pull the death penalty.

(Never mind that, unlike Arias, they'd still be free to steal new limelights and milk more cows, even if that is a lot more effort than beating the Arias horse until it's dried leather.)
And if a second jury can't decide, it goes to the judge.
Ridiculous. :/
