So what's the deal, you might wonder. Think of it as a "freestyle art trade" of sorts, a shared pool of inspiration where your characters can interact with any of the other guests. Hopefully, as the party progresses and guests arrive, I'll be updating this post with links to the images and information about the guests (so if you attend, be sure to drop me a note). From here you'll be able to see who else is attending, what they might be up to and whether you'd like to take part of it.

All I ask is that you respect the other guests. If you get the urge to involve someone else's character into something that the owner might not be comfortable with, get permission first. Just adhere to the usual unspoken rules of fan-art/art-trades and you should be fine. Other than that, have fun!


The location

For the sake of the story, it is safe to assume that the house has all the conveniences required for a succesful party. I'm talking music, cake, booze, snacks, a hot tub, pool and so on. I'm sure I missed some entertaining features, so by all means feel free to add them where needed!

The guests

Carbon - Hostess of the party. She will happily provide you with drinks, snacks and conversation. She's easy-going and hardly shy around others, though she's more reserved than her friend Natalie.

Natalie - Best friend of Carbon and frequent visitor to the house. No way was she going to miss out on a party! She tends to be straight to the point and is not afraid of having fun in whatever form she can find it.

Graphite - Leave it to the lion to settle down in the livingroom, pilfering all the peanuts and doodling porn on his sketchpad, ending up too distracted to even notice when the other guests arrive. Bit of a hopeless case when it comes to interacting with other people, but eh... what can you do?

Motivation

Now, no doubt some of you are curious about my motives: if there's one thing I have noticed about my artwork, it's that I often get inspired by other people's art and the discussions around them. Unfortunately said images usually involve the other's characters, so I hardly ever end up drawing my own. This is my attempt to remedy that situation. Essentially, what I'm hoping is that it'll provide me (and others) with a pool of inspiration, along with a chance for all involved to see fan-art of their characters.
