I haven't given an update in a while, so here's what's been going on and why I've been pretty radio silent! The Tutorial Book is almost finished (now being edited by a professional person and everything!). Now I'm just finishing up the perks. Once that's done, I'll also finish the next page of Cinder Frost. Really sorry it's taken so long. It's been half finished for weeks now but I really needed to finish the Tutorial Book content for May. Things were a little hectic. Pulled a few all-nighters, but managed to complete what I wanted to. I'm both excited and nervous to send it out to everyone. I really hope it's helpful XP
Also had to make some frequent vet trips, which has been a bit scary. First my roomie's rat got a really bad respiratory infection plus some kind of parasite all in the same week. He's better now, but it didn't look too good for a while. I took my cat in for a routine check up with the rats just to make sure he was okay, and he was released with a clean bill of health after getting his shots updated.
That was two weeks ago. Today my kitty got super constipated and had to be taken to emergency, since our usual vet wasn't available. It was harrowing. I hate the emergency. Saw way too many people coming out of that horrific room where you say goodbye to your pets. Had me feeling a bit paranoid, but the vet said Bee isn't really that bad and he could come home with me after getting an enema and a sub-cutaneous fluid injection. He's napping now because he found the whole ordeal exhausting. Really glad he's okay.
I'm planning on going to Otakuthon in August. But as a regular con-goer, not getting a table this time. Mostly I just want to hang around Montreal though, I love that city. Also going to Fan Expo (also as a regular con-goer) with
because last year we watched lots of terrible movies and now it's tradition. Decided not to get tables at cons this year because there was just too much going on project-wise and I didn't think I'd have the time for it.
