Sketch exchange!!!! Another month, another sign up. The theme for this exchange - TRAVEL THRU TIME! Your character has access to a time machine - what kind of mischief can they get into???
Sign up as you normally would, and leave an idea of the kind of historical (or futuristic!) period you'd like to see portrayed! Anything goes! Cavemen? Ancient Rome? Vikings? Renaissance? Victorian? Roaring Twenties? Distant space-faring future???? And for your artistic part - STRICT historical accuracy isn't really necessary (this is a sketch trade, after all) but DO try to do your best and maybe some quick internet research for costume ideas at least!
The basic rules are the same as for our regular trades; Be timely. Draw at least 3/4 of the character(s). Give it your best shot. BUT this is going to be a sketch trade! Full color not required! Backgrounds not necessary! Sketches/doodles totally ok! (Please use your common sense here, everyone who is in the group has some basic artistic ability, stick figures aren't cool).
Keep in mind that this is a THEMED trade, and the theme is TRAVEL THRU TIME!
The sign-up deadline is 6-15-2013.
If you are participating, you must have commented on this journal by 11.59pm EST 6-15-13. We will assign your trade partner via email within the next day or two, depending on how many participants we have.
The due date for your trade is 6-30-2013.
You may post your trade at any time before the due date, and you are encouraged to do so if you can! FOR THESE SKETCH ROUNDS, NO MERIT POINTS WILL BE AWARDED FOR EARLY ENTRANTS.
Once you have uploaded your half of the trade, please PM us so we can link your submission on the trade journal.

Sketch rounds are untiered. The trade assignment is completely random.

Any historical period would be fun - but as a rough guide I could see Heresy in Victorian garb, Zytka as a cavegirl lass, and Marcelline as a flapper! But really ANYTHING would be spectacular.

I have a secret love for medieval/renaissance/victorian/elizabethan styles, especially as this character normally hails from a futuristic/scifi/star wars type universe. =) If something else strikes your fancy, though, have at it!

I am in love with historical romances, I love anything from early 1900s or earlier. (i.e. from England, Rome, Greece, Italian Resistance, Egyptian if its old I probably love it lol)

Ideas: I've always been facinated with Victorian times (the fashion and style) and Medival (adventures and dragons, oh my!) Maybe in a forest with a wizard learning magic? Maybe fortune telling in a tent on a nearby road? Who knows, let your imagination run wild!
I'm fine with what ever rating the artist is comfortable with.
