Well besides emotionally ok, I am physically safe and well. Why do you care?
Because a few days ago some serious storms hit the midwest. My area had a few small tornados..one which hit our powerstation down a few blocks. Whole cities power was out for days. Just got it back on, but probably through diverting it because the station blew up in a fireball and 75% of it is damaged/gone.
But hey, plenty of fire wood right? Since our maples top half broke off onto the roof part next to my window. All is well, no damage, just lots of wood piling up our backyard.
Alas we did lose some food because our fridge had no power..ughhhh.. so we're going to live off 12 diff meals from a ham and like rice and noodles galore. No money to replace anything.
and the saddest part.. we lost a friend. RIP Mr.Mole.
We love love LOVE loaches. (a kind of fish) and we had like 4 clown loaches. <333 Our biggest Mr.Mole couldnt handle the lack of oxygen and the building up nitrates. While the other loahces and fish go to the surface for air, and we would bubble the water by a tube and breath, and then I did a water change..it didnt help..he passed on 30min before power came back.. he is now burried with our new cherry tree.

in other news my non-art time is spent collecting and playing Magic The Gathering with my friends (I've been playing maybe a year now? but just with family and maybe a friend or two) as they just got into it and bought themselves some decks..addicting isn't it? Now if only I can beat Austin's black/white deck -shakes fist- (wish me luck on my try at dual colors, I'm a green girl but I'm branching out)
AND.. I have been asked by my mate to DM a campaign.. oh lord I'm so scared. I've never played rulebook worthy DnD let alone DM/storteller'd anything. (storyteller is whitewolf stuff <333) I probably wont be too by the book but since I (slightly paid for her efforts..50$ for 300% worth) recently came into owning a shitton of DnD/other roleplay books (hells yeah 3.5 baby) I'm trying to read and figure this stuff out..
I wonder if I could stream it as it'll be over skype.. oh god Im going to fail so hard >.<

Some scary shit. He said he saw it before running downstairs. It cut a diagonal and skipped over the house. omg
Also, sounds like your time's been about the same as mine. We had a tornado make its way through our backyard close to the end and we were without power for about four days (had it back for a little over a week, now).
