COMPUTER FIXED!! And help with touchpad? :c
12 years ago
Hey all! Just lettin everybody know my computer is fixed! :DD Which means I can get back to work on finishing the commissions I owe! This is just a heads up though, I can't take on any more commissions until I finish the ones I already owe. So for those that sent in emails, sorry guys. x-x I can't take them. :c I'll edit my commission status to closed till I can finish these guys up gah.
I will, however, try and do just colored sketches for a stream to raise the money I was shorted out thanks to my computer going capoof.
But yeah, expect some new art now! :D Tartii is back in business and ready to play catch-up! -strokes her lappy- So nice to have it back ;;
However I'm a little perplexed. Ever since I got it back my touchpad no longer likes to click and drag. The mouse will move fine, and I can click things, but click-and-drag is not a function. So I can't 'scroll' without clicking the side bar down manually, not dragging it, or using my tablet. Does anybody know how to fix this? (no idea where to find my dang touchpad settings)
But aside from that....good to be back! :D

Glad everything's fixed, and you're back to your full creative producin' self! \=n_n=/ *pounces* <3
Sounds to be as if they tampered with the actual touchpad settings itself. Since the touch pad works fine, minus this of course. I'd take a look in it's settings. What type of touchpad is it? If it's a synaptics, then I can help greatly, since that's the one I own. ^w^
To find out who made your touch pad in order update then, go into Device Manager. Assuming Win 7: Click Start, then right click on Computer, click Properties, Click Device Manager, Click the arrow next to "Mice and other pointing devices". Look for an entry that mentions a Touchpad. if the entry doesn't mention who made it in the name, right click it, click properites, then in the General tab next to Manufacturer it should say who made the touch pad. Go to that companies website and look for driver updates.
To go into your touchpad settings, Assuming Win 7: Click Start, click Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, under Devices and Printers click Mouse. I have a Synaptics touch pad, so I have a Device Settings tab for my touch pad that I can go to in the Moue Properties window. Go to that tab and then click the Settings button. This opens up another window for the settings of the touchpad where you can change or add the settings you need.
