If I had the money, I'd definitely commission you! I think your art would be well worth it!

Now, for an actual price, and this is going off of what you did for me already, I'd say somewhere between 10-25 dollars, depending on the size of the pic, and how many characters are in it. If it's going to be a lot of characters, or a lot of detail, I could see you charging more for it. Either way, I'd say it was well worth it. ^^

*chuckles* I had to go through this self-argument myself awhile back, but I'm glad I did. I don't get that many commissions atm, but the ones I do get, I just love working on them, and it feels good to do art and get paid for it. ^^

I already have three pics from him, and I haven't done anything in return yet, so I'm just going to wait till he's open for commissions before I ask for something again. As much as I like free art, I do feel that you have to keep it fair for the artist, and not take advantage of it.

Well, we both still very much treasure the ones you did for us before, so I might be tempted to ask for another one from you. However, I think I'm going to wait until you're open for commissions, and buy one from you instead.

Someone saying they will pay you for your artwork is an awesome thing to have happen. It means they want to get a cool pic from you without having to do the raffles and are willing to pay for it. As for the price? That would depend on a good number of factors. Such as Complexity of the picture, How long you take to draw it out, and what most people might think your art is worth. Normally speaking, the quicker and more slapped together the art, the cheaper it should be. Not only that but I'm a firm believer that if you pay a very low price, the number of changes you can make should be kept to a minimum. So I would suggest starting at about 10 for those people willing to pay for it and if you don't get that many interested, drop it down to 5 and see where that takes you.

I'd do it myself, but i've put my commissions and all my art on hold to spend as much time with him as i can before he goes off. Next time i'll see him is his graduation, and then whatever time i have with him after that before he has to go off again for training to be an aircrewman.
