IT'S FREE ARTS RAFFLE TIME! Here's how it's going to work:
HOW TO ENTER
Reply to this journal with the following:
1. A link to your character's image reference (3 links at most please, no text-only refs)
2. A link to a NEW journal, posted by you, that contains a working link to this raffle. Gotta get me some participants!
3. Choose an object or weapon for your character to be holding/using (NO NSFW objects, ie, dildos). I'm going to make it magical!
And that's it!
You don't even have to be watching me to enter. Your journal must still be valid at the time that I'm determining the winners, or you will be disqualified - To be safe, don't delete your journal until winners are announced.
No repeat winners - If you won my last raffle, I'm sorry, but you're already disqualified. Sorry, I want to give some other people a chance! :P
THE PRIZE
I'm doing a slightly different theme this time: Magical Implements and Weapons! You choose an object or weapon when you enter, and if you win, I'll "enchant" that object and draw your character being a badass with it! Winners can expect to get something like this - full body, cell shaded, minimal background, fun glowing things. The kind of content you'll get is based solely on your linked reference and how I choose to enchant the object you provide for me in your entry.
This time, there will be TWO FREE ARTS WINNER SLOTS!
The deadline for entries is Wednesday, June 12th 2013, at 6pm EST. I'll probably be busy on the 13th, so don't expect to see the winning art until between this Friday and Sunday.
CHOOSING THE WINNERS

Weapon: Let...me...think...he has this one sword that resembles this one: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/.....wordstuff2.jpg It has the function to be split in half, turning it into a pair of bladed tonfa. :3 Ya know that those are, right? A difference though is the sword's hilt more resembles a cross, especially when combined in sword form. I hope this works...I know ya said no text references...

Weapon of choice: A large driftwood walking stick with a heavy knot of wood at the top. Can be used a stave or a a long mace or some sort of weird polearm.

As for a weapon: He uses a bow. It's black and string-less. I never had a reference of it, so you can do what you would like with it. Just it's like a long bow and wouldn't have much of a design on it.

I think my soonest free time to just sit around and relax/draw for extended periods of time is going to be late June. You're gonna be around 300 by then, I bet. Or I think you should be. I'll have to come up with some sort of devious plot to catch up to you in numbers and in skill!

As for my character, I think I'm going to go for S'scylica (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9836953/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9998676/ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10643125/) As you can see in the third pic, she occasionally uses a quarterstaff when she has to engage in combat. It would be nice for it to have some enchantment on it. It's at your discretion, of course, but something in the nature of entrapment or mesmerism would be most appropriate.
