The Orlando Taco Tuesday and Movie Meet - Oblivion Update

This is an update to the previous journal that includes the new post meet location, Oblivion Taproom, as well as some other added details (a better time schedule!)
So what exactly am I talking about?
Well, this is a furry meet that occurs every single Tuesday. The entirety of the meet takes place at several locations over on East Colonial Drive in Orlando, Florida.
The meet starts at 5:30pm at Tijuana Flats (address below). Here we get together and enjoy the Tuesday special - Taco Tuesday - which is $5 (plus tax) for tacos, chips, and a drink. It's up to you if you'd rather eat something else off the menu. You don't have to eat tacos, that's just the special that helped get this started as a regular thing. I now ask that if you do not plan on eating with us at Tijuana Flats to please go ahead and instead meet us at the theater itself.
We will be leaving Tijuana Flats at 6:30pm or thirty minutes before the movie we're seeing, whichever is earlier. This gives us time to hang out and get situated before the movie at the theater itself.
Our theater is the Colonial Promenade 6 theater, which is right down the street (address below). Here, we enjoy a movie for a dollar. Yep. One dollar. Cheapest movie in Orlando. The movie is always different every week, with the selection being movies that are no longer in regular theaters, but not quite yet at home. The theater is CASH ONLY. Yes, CASH ONLY. It's a dollar, so scrounge up some change if you have to, or feel free to use the ATM at the location. Movie times vary, anywhere from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Usually the movie is between 7:00pm and 7:30pm, but definitely not always.
Our new post movie hangout is a bar just down the road from the theater, Oblivion Taproom. We head here between 9:45pm and 10:00pm. So far, Oblivion has been VERY nice to us. They accommodate our large group, have a free pool table and free darts, as well as some great food & drink. They have new beers on tap every week since they rotate them out, and their selection has a consistent quality. The real highlight of hanging out here, however, is they allow us to fursuit inside the bar itself. Fursuiting here is quite a fun experience and I highly recommend it.
I ask that everyone that joins us for food and fun at Oblivion to please support the location by purchasing either food or drink (sodas for you underage folks!) and please leave tips for your server. These people work hard, especially considering how large our group gets.
We regularly have 35+ people show. The current official attendance record is 95 people. You do not need a formal invite to show up, and we do not shun people away. Consider this your invite if anything. We'd really like for anyone and everyone who might be interested to join us. Seriously, it's fun.
A fursuit is absolutely not a requirement to come out and join us. Badges, ears, foot paws, and tails are welcome. If you plan on wearing your fursuit please refrain from wearing it at any location other than Oblivion Taproom. When suiting at Oblivion, please be respectful of the establishment and remember that you are at a public place.
If you do decide to come, please feel free to join us at any of these locations throughout the night. We have some come for just tacos, just the movie, or just the bar afterwards.
This meet has gone off without a hitch every Tuesday since August 2012.

I'd like to see a Cummins anything last as long as a 6-71 anyway
I am tall, skinny, and always wearing a black hat and a black shirt. I usually have a smile on my face and sometimes I have a bandana. I might have to wear the bandana more often, since it's obviously very 'furry'.
I should more than likely, unless I don't want to drive an hour, be there for this event.
Is there any point in trying to bike to these events, considering it'll be 8 or 9 before I get there and I have to be in bed by 11? I really want to go but don't have a ride and/or get off work early enough on Tuesdays.
If you can't make the movie, you can still definitely make Oblivion. Many meet goers do this :D
I have looked at the big hotel booking portals but the closest hotel i found was already 3,5miles away.
My mate and me would love to join you on 25.11! It would fit perfectly into our vacation Schedule, but we aren't sure where to book a bed for the night after the meetup.
As an info, we got a rental car but would prefer to park it at the hotel and not at the meetup location.
So if anyone wants to help a german and a swiss fur, let me know how we could plan this evening the best.

Sadly I can't think of any hotels nearby to it. I think the closest ones are further south.
yea i saw lots of them further south or 3 miles west.
