Maybe a codec problem. I don't know this program, so I can't say for certain. But just renaming it to a .avi extension won't do anything.
What exactly are you trying to do?

The program allows you to open your .drw files (which has the brush strokes saved during the drawing process) and view them.

It also allows you to export the file into a PNG or .AVI video (so people can watch your process)

However, the .AVI videos that it's exporting for me always turn out blank for whatever reason.

Yeah, it's probably a codec issue, dude. I load a .drw file, hit Export>Save AVI, set the framerate and strokes per frame, hit go, and it churns out an avi I can view just fine.

For what it's worth, I use MPlayer for my video player, though I suspect you should be able to get the necessary codec for just about any program.

Now I just have to figure out why these .drw files are all missing certain brushstrokes in the video. For example, no matter which "save" I open of that sauna image, it comes up as the same one (with a missing arm and lack of mist). The PNGs are fine, and they replay fine on the DS. But not when I try to open it with colorsdraw.

Now I just have to find a compressing application so that these videos arent 1.5gb large.
