for details in a commission?
its not that I CANT make something without a full set of information
but its very inconsiderate if you just tell me to draw your character doing whatever with one 'ref'. (usually something that wont help)
Im an artist, not a magician. I cant just materialize an entire background for your character, thats your job as the commissioner.
anyway not a rant, more of an FYI for future commissioners. I appreciate anybody who is willing to work with me, but remember that im not a miracle maker and you have to put in your amount of work giving me info

the plural is the key point!
however im not that guy XD
but yeah if you give a ton of details and the artist forgets something like a bracelet or an earring you cant give him that hard of a time
but if he makes something that looks nothing like your guy...yeah..
why put tattoos on fur? how does that work? DURRR

I prefer giving the artist a huge amount of artist freedom personally. Hand over my refs, explain where I want each character positioned if it's a sex pic and then let them work their magic o-o!
I so hope this isn't because of me x/!
and this isnt about you or anyone in particular, this is just a heads up for future commissioners.
