Have a friend who in a role playing game once played a British steampunk gentleman, stopped in the middle of a warzone to have tea time, then went and pistol snipered a few people from a hundred feet away in the head. A's tend to be nice, treat you right, ect ect but lack the show of power most want.

C should be the mix of treating you right and having the self will to hold power, which is what people probably want. The reverse is a weakling who wines to much and is generally a loser who puts people down all the time.
