trying to make sense of something..

First off before I begin my proper journal I want to say that missing girl has Been found alive and well. So thanks everyone for spreading the word and such so that's a win.
Next I have a bit of a naive question. When you block someone and you're browsing FA does the fact that you have blocked someone mean you won't see any submissions from that person?
I only ask because someone I looked up to as an artist seems to have me on their block list I only found out today when I tried to tell them that their art inspired me and I got a message back telling me I was blocked. and I'm trying to figure out why. I don't recall ever exchanging unpleasantries or mebbe I've forgotten somehow as I'm pretty scatterbrained. The only conclusion I can come to is that they got fed up seeing my stuff floating around on fa. (if that's how blocking works) mebbe they don't like my attitude or journals but I'm not sure why blocking someone would be a solution to that. You can just not watch someone if you don't like them.
I dunno I just see blocking as quite an extreme thing to do but mebbe there are people out there who are more liberal with their block list

I know that sounds pretty harsh, but that's the reality of the world I'm afraid. *hugs* But your friends will never do such a thing to you. *BIG HUUUGS*
Unless it becomes a regular occurrence or their really "popular" and hinder your ability to socialize I would just leave those people be. Its kind of a sociopath control issue that the block makes and a way of lashing out at people for various related and unrelated reasons. All you have to do is just unwatch the person if you don't like their journals or content so blocking is pretty extreme.
I would just leave it be unless you feel that strong about it -- then you just counter-block them and dewatch/unfave them (if you have) and move on.
But anyways don't feel bad about this. This person isn't probably worth wasting time over : )
And they wont explain why. We are not so proper her as you are in the UK . So at times this can be confusing why we bo things.

In any case you should not take it personal.
I don't think I would block someone just because I don't want to see their artwork unless it was like cubbyporn or something that was clogging the browsing page then it would upset me enough.
And honestly as far as I can tell you've never really posted any sort of really offensive opinion or something that could have also triggered that
but honestly thats what I would do, get a friend I know who would be a good go between have em note the guy and simply ask.why in the nicest way possible, the worst he could do is never answer, right?
