Commission Rules and FAQ (Updated 12-2-15)
Listed below are the rules and things you should know when you plan on commissioning me.
With the new price guide I've created, you'll see that comics now have the potential to be very expensive. With the amount of improvement I've made in my art since the last opening, I can say with a clear conscience that these prices are decent compared to what other artists charge.
You can find my price guide on the Commission Info tab on my front page.
#1: Do you reserve commissions?
No, I do not. Due to unforeseen events in the future, this could prove to have daunting outcomes. It would also be unfair for someone else who wants to take a slot. Have money ready as soon as possible!
#2: How many commissions do you usually take before closing?
I will take as many as I can, but it does fully depend on what type of pictures I'm being commissioned. If I open three slots and all of them are lineart/colored comics, I will close very quickly. Sketches, however, can be done fast and I should reopen faster.
#3: Can you do an animation for me? I'll pay a good deal!
Sorry, no. Until I put them up as a commission style, I will not accept this workload.
#4: What sort of payment do you take?
Paypal and only paypal. My email is jakespringhorn@gmail.com
#5: Crap! I forgot to tell you a certain detail I want in my picture!
I will work with you as much as I can to make you satisfied with your purchase. I am very flexible on this and I encourage people to tell me rather than be disappointed with the outcome. Don't make it a habit though.
#6: Do you start working on commissions immediately?
These days commissions do not take priority over my personal projects and studies, but they do take priority over requests and trades. Seeing as how I hate keeping people waiting, I will do my best to start on your picture the soonest I am able.
#7: So I want to see my original character tied up and in latex and having a stick -
Stop! This account is for vore only! If you want to see my vore preferences, they are on my front page.
#8: Do you livestream anymore?
I am currently on Picarto. https://www.picarto.tv/live/channel.....watch=Fidchell
I will normally announce when I'm streaming on here on FA or on my Twitter, https://twitter.com/FidchellVore
#9: Will you show me the commission in its earlier stages?
Yes, this is very important to me! I will show you a sketched version if you have asked for lineart or color. If everything looks good, including dialogue, poses, etc. then I will continue.
#10: Can I pay after you complete my commission?
No, you have to pay before I begin.
#11: Are commissions first come first serve?
Not anymore. Commissions will now be chosen based on a number of factors, including personal appeal as well as offering price.
#12: Hey, I don't want a commission! You're still doing requests! When are you opening for that?
"Request" does not equal free art in this case. They are requests by my Patrons, who are donating money to me monthly. If you want to become a Patron, check out my page: https://www.patreon.com/fidchell
#13: I have more questions!
For anything I haven't covered, feel free to note me!
RULES RULES RULES!
Here are other things that I feel need to get out there:
#1: When you want to negotiate a commission with me, please note me!
#2: When you are telling me what you want, please be as detailed as possible. With the complexities I've added to the commission guideline, things tend to be confusing, and I need you to work with me to minimize confusion!
#3: Be punctual and steadfast when I'm in the process of making your commission. When I finish a certain stage and want to show it you or ask you a question, I expect a prompt response of earlier than a week. This is especially important if there are people behind you waiting.
DISCOUNTS!
Yes, you heard me. Looking back at my prices, I've decided to make a little discount system for buyers. Here is how it works:
+ Buying a comic will earn you a mark in discounts on your next purchase, but ONLY if you make a purchase greater in price than your last one.
+ Continued purchases will earn you higher discount rates! Discount rates go higher the bigger the price difference between purchases.
+ Discounts can range up to 20% !
Unless the point of the journal is the request bit, I can't tell :T
Would it not be possible to put statuses in your journal footer/header though?
