You can ask me anytime about the progress, but do not overuse it. Eventually I will inform you myself about the progress.
3.4. Finishing your order
Once finished, I'll upload your commission into my gallery unless we spoke otherwise (e.g. making it private/showing before uploading/uploading it on a set date).
You'll receive your commission in full resolution and resized resolution, fitted for the web.
4. Copyrights - my rights, your rights
4.1. My rights
I have the right to upload your commission into my online galleries/social networks (e.g. furaffinity, deviantART, tumblr, etc.) unless we spoke otherwise.
I reserve the right to put it in my portfolio.
I reserve the right to make profit out of commissioned piece (prints).
I have the right to cancel your commission for any reason.
I have the right to make profit, sell or have personal use of declined commission sketches.
4.2. Your rights
4.2.1. Private use/sharing
You have the right to share the full resolution with friends and family etc.
You have the right to make non-profit prints of your commissioned artwork - you don't need my explicit permission for it.
As previously mentioned, your commission is for private use only. No commercial use unless we talked about it.
4.2.2. Re-uploading
You may re-upload your commissioned artwork into your online galleries or social networks, but only the web-sized resolution.
However I require a credit for the artwork and (at best) a link-back to my gallery.
5. Refunds
Accidents and life situation happens and we both (me as well as the potential commissioner) understand. I give...
■ Full refund, if
I cancel the commission;
you cancel the commission in the sketch/lineart phase.
■ Partial refund, if
I cancel the commission because of rudeness/rushing/failed communication
you cancel it during the drawing process -> the further I go, the less refund you'll get
■ No refund if
the artwork is almost done or finished: it is you who pays for the service;
it contains smaller commissions (sketches, abstract).
Also, I have often been asked the similar questions. I'll answer them here :3
Q: Can you draw a camel / a crocodile / a meerkat / put-other-animal-here ?
A: Yes, I can! I know you can find mostly canines in my gallery, but I can draw almost ALL animals. If I won't be able to draw your character, I'll tell you.
I feel obliged to learn. When I draw a species the very first time, I'm looking at photos and trying to do as many sketches of this animal as I can.
Q: I'd like to commission a reference... But I don't have any pictures of my character... Would you be able to draw it?
A: Sure thing! I have drawn from description many, many times. Feel free to send me photos and/or clear description. ^^
Reference sheets have a bit other rules than other commissions. I mean, of course, I'll ask you for the payment after accepting the sketch, BUT I'll also provide WIPs during all the process of creating your character, so we can change anything you wish.
Q: How long will it take?
A: It depends. I usually work pretty fast. If you don't believe me, just ask my previous customers ;D I can do a quality work within a few days, providing you WIPs and keeping in touch with you. ^^
But please, PLEASE don't rush me. If you think that sending me tons of notes will help, well, I'm afraid that I have to disappoint you. I had an issue, when the customer was sending me notes every single hour, demanding their commission. If it happens again, I'll give the money back and go away. Sorry.
It's an art, not a fastfood.
Q: I'd like to commission a traditional picture. Can you send the original to me?
A: Yes. I have answered this question in my "pricelist", but people still keep asking. So again: yes, I can send you the original artwork. Shipping cost is 7 USD.
Q: Can I submit commissioned picture on my FA / dA / forum / wherever?
A: Yes, you can! ;D Just give me credit and don't pretend you drew it. ;3
Aaanything else? 8D Any questions?
