I just had a bad accident at work. had a strap attached to some steel I was moving with a forklift. the strap was wrapped around my paw. didnt realize that the other end was hanging down untill the tire of the forklift caught it. before I could react, it had pulled my fingertips off. the pinky and index lost the flesh and the bone was sticking out. the middle two ripped off more and wrapped eachother around eachother. they cant reattach the outer finger tips. they sewed the inner ones back on but there is no blood flow or nerve. they are basicly dead. I will be going to the hospital for surgery in the morning. they will cut off the last bone on all 4 fingers. I am right pawed and this was my right paw. so this will be a major change in my life. not much more I can say untill they cut me up. I hope they can leave more then they estimated, but I will adapt to whatever I am left with.

unfortunatly I am self employed so I do not have workers comp. I am going to have to figure out how to pay for this medical bill. my father is going to help but that is a lot of money. I already know it will be upwards of 10K. most likely much more.
