Best post this so no one finds it and thinks I have a double on here. Found a gallery on here created a good few months before I did mine on here, it's title being "Sharpe". No activity for over 3-4 years I've since taken over it, using it for convention pictures, personal art, etc. Attempting to keep this gallery strictly business (lets see how that goes as I have yet to transition anything over to my Weasyl account :P)

Onto AC!

Thursday was one. Long. Day. We left, stopping not but 45 minutes later at Cabela's to grab a backpack then scooted onto the road again. Trip was neat and was definitely fun. We got in and immediately got lost in Pittsburgh haha. Eventually we made it to our hotel, dropping off  unwantedcujo at the Westin. We got in, unloaded, and headed over to register and deliver suits. Got Cacoto's suit to him and rescheduled for delivery of Amon. Grabbed our badges, got back in, and proceeded to unpack. I started swapping the pads and ears on  origamigryphon's shepherd suit and headed back out to deliver more suits. Was able to deliver Ki-fus art doll to her excitingly <3. After that we fitted Amon, taking the body and head back to the room for some minor adjustments, getting to bed around 2a.m.

Woke Friday morning and quickly got Amon over to his owner so that he could get into suit and hit the dealers den. to be with  rukis. We hung out with many people and slipped back to hop into suit. I grabbed Trooper and by the time we made it back to the Westin, there was a line forming for fursuit badges. It was a crazy wait but I was happy to snag mine. Rushed over to Fernando's for food and rushed even faster back for the  g-shepsquad German Shepherd fursuit photoshoot. We danced a bit and got out of suit, hanging with  origamigryphon,  qarrezel ki-fu Q mom, Emberz, and many more. Everyone was amazing and the DJ they had had some really awesome songs going. Really turned a stressful weekend into a better one, that night did <3

Saturday was just as stressfull. We woke late, flying into suit and getting over to the Westin from the Omni only to discover we had forgotten Pizza's badges. After scrambling back to the room and that even more so to the Westin, we made it in for the fursuit count and parade. Got to harass  eilavue Food after that was fantastic and then a swim just made everything perfect. Got back, changed, and had sushi with  draconicarcher,  ino89777,  razzylee,  calicocougar, and  ladyshar. Went back once more, slipped back into suit (me with Trooper once more) and hit the dance, just rocking out. My favorite moments of nay con are the dances, only time I really get to focus upon my husband without having to worry about someone wanting a picture or other distractions of the sort.

Sunday was interesting. Get up, pack, get everything into the car except the fursuits we were to wear. Go back to the room, suit up, and check out. We wandered the artists alley and a bit of the dealers den, running into Cujo and  wolfenakari. Went along with them for food at the Primanti Bros. me getting my very first taxi ride ending in one epic sandwich. A pair of ladies came in and were super excited to see "the furries", chatting with us for a bit. Little did we know though, bless their hearts they covered our bill! We got back just in time to search all over creation for Dukes dance video meet up. Find them all in the headless lounge, me and several others proceeded to teach the dance to a few of those that were just learning it. We hit the roof for the video, the humidity just killer. Sweat was pouring into my eyes but gosh darn it was I having fun! Th dance went really well. They were starting to shut the headless lounge down not long after that so we all went from the con center lounge to the Westin. Grabbed what suits we were taking back with us and grabbed Cujo's stuff to throw into the car. I got a shot finally with Trooper and Buster together at the end right as we were leaving, saying our good byes..

We all loaded up in the car (me still in suit btw, had forgotten about when or how I was to change out :P ) and went home, getting in around 1 a.m. Monday morning. I had passed out at the beginning of the trip so that 6 hour drive went by quickly.

At the moment I both miss AC and don't miss it. I miss the people and the place, but the silence and the lesser stress is also wonderful. Going to see about going back next year however. I was different than most cons I went to, but it was still rather fun <3
