For the few who i've told already, this is slightly old news, but to let everyone else know... i've finally gotten a paying job at a local business!

After quite a while looking, the employment agency I signed up with finally found a position at a small business - one that creates online courses, but who wanted additonal help for working on the visual aspects of their course 'sites'. Just to be safe, I won't name which business it is publically, but it's a rather small-scale casual business, which in all honesty is probably the best kind of workplace for me to start with. The people i've met there have all been really friendly so far too, which is always a plus.

Anyways, my first day was on Monday, and barring some technical difficulties in getting an additional workstation set up (which will be resolved by next week), things went pretty well, and I look forward to helping them out further from here. For now, it's just the one day every week, so again things are stating off nice and simple. I've also been volunteering on Saturday afternoons at a small local gallery though, so I'm still doing that in conjunction - since it's official volunteer work I don't get paid for that one, but I don't mind at all. ^^

So yeah, at least I finally have a position somewhere. Now I just have to make sure I keep doing a good enough job. XD
