Anthrocon 2013 Recap - Wednesday

Well. Anthrocon started off with my darling Strobes and I leaving his house in Jonestown, PA around 9:45am. What should have been a four hour ride turned into a 3.5 hours ride including a bathroom break cause I drive like a maniac.
When we approached the Westin, I was instantly wiggling in excitement. This is my third time driving to AC so I know that Westin entrance all too well and I always get so stoked! We unloaded the car, I hurried and parked it and ran back to the Westin. I then checked into the room and we quickly unloaded everything. Soon after Vince and Toay came to the room for hugs and catching up. I always love seeing Vince, he's practically a brother, and finally being able to meet Toay in person fucking rocked!
Now my memory gets really fuzzy here, but I believe next I went to dinner Strobes, Atsu, Vince, Toay, Xepher, Ikato, Flip, Jelli, Urso, anddddd people that are slipping my mind cause I'm dumb. We ate at Furnando's, we caught up, joked around and I was the happiest little kitty in the world. Oh and Jelli and I observed a very polite and incredibly full of etiquette woman outside Furnandos. Looking back I don't get what we were doing.
Oh yeah, meeting Flipsta for the first time in person was also really awesome. It was surreal though since I already count him as a best friend.
After that Hunter, Blue and Cyan arrived, and, like what always happens when Cyan's around, drinking commenced. The aforementioned people from dinner and Phor, Recca, Sadie, Finn and JD, and a bundle of others, including a very sexy and handsom gentleman with a hispanic accent, partied hardcore in Atsu's room. God I had a blast meeting everyone and catching up, it's always so great seeing your friends.
Oh and at some point during the night I saw Camo and I almost killed him out of love. Never has there been a more intense hug.
In my drunken stupor I decided the best thing to do would be to fursuit, but not as normal Gale, not even as normal partial Gale. Oh no. We decided Gale should wear the bath robe from our suite and I should partial in that. I wore pants and my "let's get naked shirt" under it, so don't get too excited, I wasn't naked.
We went down to the lobby and like every Wednesday at AC, it was full of 'normal' Pittsburgh citizens. I explained the fandom to many of them and took a bunch of silly pics. I got to meet Uncle Kage's Mom and Dad, and they told me story and called me a saint for being such a sweet suiter. I blushed. <3
The rest of the night I spent wandering around in my robe asking everyone if they knew where the showers were. Many videos and pics were taken, so I hope to share those soon. I headed upstairs around 2am, showered and then got a call from Floe, saying she was close to arriving. In my skimpy little pajamas, I threw the robe back on and went downstairs where I made a huge scene with my flashing shenanigans. I got to meet Floe's friend Boss Boar, a favorite character of mine, and an incredible person! Then awhile later Palace and Kavi arrived. I greeted them with a song and dance, and then it was finally time for bed.

I love how you manage to make theme nights just outta nowhere. Sounds like it gets memorable. I'd struggle to do a post-con day-by-day breakdown without something like that; it'd be so easy to go suiting, drinking, dancing everyday!
