So what do you do when you win 8 hours of an artist time (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4852109/) you do something like this.
I'm selling them and all the money goes right to Toddlergirl.
So here's the plan!
You would be bidding for a inked sketch by Toddlergirl, the sketch will be drawn in a 30 minute session so two sketches per an hour
Bidding starts at $1
Each bid can _only_ be a $1 increment.
Everyone that bids will be entered once in for an hour long slot coloured piccy.
People can bid as many times as they want but may only bid on a maximum of 2 slots, if you are outbid you can bid again but can't bid in a new slot.
You can't bid against yourself.
Slots would be announced at different times;
hour 1 Bidding starts Friday 0900 GMT
slot 1
slot 2
hour 3 Bidding starts Friday 1300 GMT
slot 1
slot 2
hour 6 Bidding starts Friday 2300 GMT
slot 1
slot 2
The rest of the time breaks down;
hour 2
slot 1 - Hour 1 slot1/2 bid "winner"
hour 4
slot 1 - Hour 3 slot 1/2 bid "winner"
hour 7
slot 1 - Hour 6 slot 1/2 bid "winner"
With hours 5 and 8 - Freeform / nap time / sketch challenge time for Gem, as we get her to draw as many sketchy head shots from EVERYONE that bid as possible in an hour.
Watch this space for the slots opening up starting tomorrow at 1pm GMT!!!

So basically.. You can bid on only two slots but as many times as you want.. And anyone who bids will be entered into a "special" prize draw for an hour slot?

There are six slots i have named them a,b,c,d,e and f
hour 1 Bidding starts Friday 1pm GMT
a) slot 1
b) slot 2
hour 3 Bidding starts Friday 11pm GMT
c) slot 1
d) slot 2
hour 6 Bidding starts Saturday 9am GMT
e) slot 1
f) slot 2
They start at different times to give as many people a chance to enter as possible and they run for 12 hours each.
You can bid on any two slots (for example b and e) but you can only bid $1 at time and you can raise the bid if you are outbid.
So on the day there'll be a nice friendly journal

And so on until people get bored bidding up like that.
It'll be fun and exciting i'm sure!
At least that will show us how it intends to work and you get to iron the bugs out.

this keeps it nice and simple to see what's going on.

One other thing to say, what happens if two people post a $1 increment at the same time, who is adjudged to be the high bidder then? Or is it that each time we post on the thread it is assumed that the last post on the thread is the high bidder because each subsequent post is a $1 bid?
Sorry if this seems to be a lot of questions, I'm just intrigued as to how it works.
In the event of two bids of +1 being posted the first in the conversation thread will take precedence.
I thought it would be prudent to get the kinks ironed out before you launch the auction tomorrow.
