Well, i have a theory for that. It doesn't show if a somebody has unwatched you if in your messages.the Watch area is empty. So if it's the case,i think somebody wanted to watch you, but clicked twice in the button,making it watch and unwatch you. It sometimes happens when my internet is slow,and i think the fave/watch/comment won't load,so i click again =P

That's possible. I'm more frustrated about why the message sits in your message box when it's been removed, showing you that something was there and it's not anymore. I don't understand why they can't just remove the message from your message box.

It is rather depressing, i'll give you that.

Especially if you're like me and feel the need to track down the person who unwatched, just to make sure you haven't upset them somehow.

I'm like that. I like to make sure there's no hard feelings for whatever went down.

I get curious about it as well. Happens often with YCH pics or stream notifiations, and if you happen to comment on it, you get a notification when it gets taken down. I do wish FA wouldn't bother letting us know when it happens though. It's annoying and doesn't really serve any purpose.

The only purpose it serves is making me ache with curiosity. x3

If I use my cell phone it will on occasion activates random page links especially on FA. Awkward when this faves something that you'd normally would have only wanted to look at briefly but not necessarily add to your faves list.

Well, if somebody watches and then unwatches you (before you see the watch notification, that is), or faves something in your gallery and then unfaves it, there are only two ways FA could handle it -- to tell you about it, or not to. FA's chosen to tell you about it. But more than that, they've chosen not to inform you who it was. It's sort of like the way you can hide, but not delete, your own comments, and then nobody can see who left the comment, but everyone can still see that there was a comment.

I'm not sure why FA made these choices, but they did. Part of it has to do with why someone might fave something and then unfave it, or watch someone and then unwatch them. If I faved something in somebody's gallery that was drawn by someone else, then found the original in the artist's own gallery, I might unfave the first one so as to fave the original, so I don't have duplicates in my faves. Another of the bazillion people might fave something and then unfave it.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond Jennie! The question was rhetorical but I suppose you are quite correct. I was merely being whiney yesterday about a small decision made in the design of the website. I'm over it now and back to my smiling self again. *hugs a bun* :)

Ohhh ok. I was just trying to think of why they did it that way, because I don't recall any other website/forum being like that. Anyway, back to important matters like hugs! *hugs back* ^_^
