First the business stuff:
If you're a client and you've moved or changed addresses, PLEASE let me know. I almost sent something to the wrong place. And the USPS doesn't need my help to screw things up, believe me.
On that note... Since the USPS has now *completely* lost 4 packages of mine (they don't even come back to me; god knows where they end up) I am increasing my standard inside the US shipping cost to $4.00 so I can include a tracking number. Sorry about that, but I don't trust them anymore.
(International does not have tracking numbers, they have customs numbers and can be tracked that way --at least within US jurisdiction.)
Secondly
I am close to having 3000 watchers. When I hit that mark, I want to do something to say thank you. Last year, when I hit 2000, I held a contest and I really liked that. It was very interactive. So I going to do it again.
I will upload a line-drawing, which all my watchers are invited to download and color, then post to the contest journal. You will have two weeks to do this. At the end of those two weeks, all entries will be posted in a Finalists Journal and the rest of my watchers can vote for their favorites. The three with the most votes will win free art.
First Place - a three-figure color painting by me (And yes, you can break it up into separate pieces if you wish)
Second Place - a single figure color painting by me
Third Place - a single figure ink piece by me
And yes, people participating in the contest have a vote, too. Vote for anyone, including yourself, if you like.
For those watchers who are not artistic --or simply don't have the right software-- I am going to hold a separate contest after this one is finished. I think it will be a "write the best caption" contest or something of that nature, so everyone can participate.
Cool?
And thanks for looking!

And I highly agree with upping shipping to include tracking. On both ends more security in knowing where the package is, and customers can look up where it is to go "come on... get here sooner"
As for packages, that sounds awful! I certainly wouldn't mind an additional charge for a tracking number. I know the last pic you did for me, the Dragoness and Minotaur, did get to me intact.
I am ruined for life, and I have you to thank... (holds up an empty art frame, and in Oliver Twist's voice, asks "More?")
So I suppose I can give this a shot. *shudders* this won't be pretty. ;)
