When I first joined FA, I kept all the adult stuff private. After a while, I said what the hell, and started posting it. Then when I thought some more on it a few years later, I changed my mind again and pulled most of it more risque than a tasteful pinup.

Personally, I don't know if I'll repost it anytime soon. Multiple accounts seems too difficult to maintain, and if you throw it out there, it's out there. Think of it like a tattoo. When you're 70 and looking at the furry porn you drew 50 years ago, will that bother you? What if it ends up on e621 or someplace, and someone sends it to you at work?

Furries will probably love you for it, but some folks may get offended, esp if this becomes an all porn account. Even if not, impressions matter, so the primary question is, what impression do you wish to leave?

That I'm not a loose character and Yannarra isn't anyone's meat.

Mostly solvable by simply posting your female character in compromising positions with a male character of your own creation and refusing to draw her with anyone else.

I'm just saying.

There wouldn't be much point in multiple accounts though.
Your artistic style is distinct enough that people would know it's yours anyway.


And FA? I will submit my post when I am damn good and ready, and only once at that. Don't pull that shit on me again when I'm halfway through. >.>

I have LOTS of male characters I can use... but no female characters besides my MLP, my "me" and my squirrel.

And yeah, multiple accounts is just... too much work lol

Art in all it's forms is expressionistic and a piece of the soul. I say it does not matter what the rating of the content is so long as you're happy with the piece and wish to share it. Nudity is beauty and art is part of the legacy we will leave to the world when we are gone. Maybe not share just any sort of erotic pictures but just the ones you find the most appealing or the most beautiful. Just on dragon's opinion.

Okay. Long story short (I hope). This is something I try to go by personally... Do what is right for you or as Shakespeare once said, "To thine own self be true" (I'm going with the layman's interpretation and not the two-faced meaning as used by Polonius). If you are hurting no one intentionally and no one is hurting you back then it is all good. How will showing your work make you feel? How you answer that question is what you should go with.

I had a really long winded, beginnings of a novel or even a thesis going... then I said to myself, WWMS (What would Michelle* say). She would say, "Honey, I love you but what's your point?" So there ya go. No matter what you decide it will be great!

i agree with the idea of any adult art being with your own characters and them only.. or solo. imo it lets you draw the naughties and you're nobodies piece of meat because nobody else is in the picture :3 i kinda have the same thing going on over on my end with the exception of one piece with a really good friend. and even then it's not all that naughty.... unless you know where to look ;3 well that's a lie..... i did win a raffle for something quite spectacular (i'll show you when it's finished X3)
