Life update, resuming Roommates & Ref Sheets, & Scheduling

Where to begin... A lot has been going on. Obviously not a lot of posting from me in the past year. But the reason for that was primarily school, then family emergencies, and just trying to keep up with commissions to pay those pesky bills.
Life:
My brother was in and out of the hospital until he passed away a couple of months ago. It was hard to deal with, and that had killed a lot of my productivity for a while. My family pretty much fell apart during the whole ordeal too. I'm just thankful that the worst of it happened -after- the spring semester ended for me. So that's silver lining, I suppose.
Recently,
Dreamous and I finally got married, legally, since that section of DOMA and Prop 8 were ruled unconstitutional that allowed us to finally get it down on official papers. That was an ordeal, but well worth the effort. But it did set me out of work for about 4 weeks with planning and having people over. But, we're official now and I couldn't be happier, so after the long struggle of the past year or so, it was the ultimate reward for me that made it that much sweeter. <3 Very thankful and happy to have my dragon.
In the past year or so I seem to have developed tendinitis, so unfortunately I can't keep working into the night like I used to for the sake of my arm. I can really only get a solid 5 to 7 hours of art in a day before the pain gets too bad and I have to stop for the night, and sometimes the next day. I apologize to my current clients who are still patiently waiting, but I'm working as much as my time and pain tolerance allows me.
Thankfully, recently I have finished school, for now at least. I'm taking a hiatus on working towards that 2nd degree because I just can't keep up with both that and work, and as a lot of you have noticed, my personal projects like -
Roommates, the various portfolios I've wanted to work on, my solo 
dragonshoard comic, and just art for -me- for once - have taken a major hit in terms of their production. Life just hasn't made it possible for me to juggle it all. A certain few friends have seemed to have lost patience with me for being so busy all the time, so I regret that I am not as available to even my friends in my busy life. But I've come up with a solution that I'm hoping will work out for me in getting more work done and more spread out so that not one single thing suffers too much. And hopefully I will be able to find the time to be more social with my close friends.
Resuming Roommates and Dragon's Hoard:
I'm going to get back into doing roommates again. I know I never made an official announcement, but shortly after finishing page 7 of arc 3, I told myself I was taking a hiatus from it to focus on school, my life, and my commission work, as stated above, for bills purposes. School is out for me for a while, and so I've devised a schedule for me to work on Roommates consistently so that updates don't fall from months to a year again.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, con scheduling, family/friend visits, and my pain tolerance to tendinitis, I will be working on Roommates every other Thursday, starting tonight. It will also be publicly streamed most days (not always) on Livestream or Tigerdile, if I end up liking that when I try it out. I am also considering paying for a Join.me premium account, in case the free Livestream or pay-for Tigerdile streaming services don't work out. Neither Tigerdile nor Join.me are terribly pricey, so I'm thankful for that. Stay tuned for updates on that, and tonight, I will post a link to the stream on the Roommates account when I am ready to start.
Also, after much talk and deliberation with Rabbit Valley, our publisher for dragonshoard, we are going to be able to get Roommates printed in physical comic form. It's not ready yet, since I need/want to make some minor edits to each page for optimal printing, and to fix specific continuities. I also need to do a cover for it, and I also want to add some extra stuff to throw in there for our dedicated and faithful fans of the comic, such as pinups or spreads of one to two characters, in canon, that are stand-alone from the comic.
I think the first "issue" will be Arc 1 and 2, and -maybe- Addendum 1, only seen on the Roommates CD we made back in January 2011.
Not to worry though, because I am still able to post each page up on FA/SF as I complete them. So it will still essentially remain a free to view comic, barring what little exclusive content we have. Hooray!
My solo Dragon's Hoard comic, titled "Sacrifice", I will be working on every other Thursday as well, switching off with Roommates. I can't stream that one though! I had sketched the first 13 pages of it over a year ago, but haven't had opportunity to work on it again since.

I'm sure those who've been patiently waiting on my ref sheet queue will be glad to know I also made a schedule to work on these too. Unfortunately, Ref Sheets -do- take quite a lot of work, so it was for that reason that I put them off for so long as well. However, I don't accept payment for those until I at least start them, so none of you are paid on those.
I will work on ref sheet commissions every other Friday, starting tomorrow, from 12:00pm - 6:00pm Pacific Standard Time. I will work down the list as I receive info for them so I can at least start some sketching tomorrow.
Later tonight I will be sending out emails/notes to all people on my ref sheet list, seen at the very bottom here. If you are on that list and read this part of the journal, do me a favor and pre-empt my email/note to you and go ahead and send info over to smash.rabbit[at]gmail.com for your ref sheet, and I will start on them as I get to them. Payment will be requested at the initial sketch phase, so keep that in mind. If you are on that list and no longer wish to get a ref sheet commission, please let me know in email/note/comment.
I need to whittle down that list and I don't know why I decided to take so many at once before even being able to start. So that is why I am deciding the following: if you are not ready to send details for your ref sheet before 2 week's time from now, I'm going to remove you from the queue entirely. You will be able to get a ref sheet commission later on down the road after the current list is completed, if you so wish.
Finally, I will be making a better-looking version of the ref sheet queue for you all to look at.
Current Commissions:
As some of you may know, I have only been accepting standard commissions while at cons, and slave streams. That won't change for the time being, and those of you who are in the current queue, don't worry, as Sunday through Wednesday are my days for working on commissions from cons. I am working down the list steadily as time allows me to. Thanks for your understanding and patience. Please keep referring to the link I provided you with for progress updates.
Resuming Stream-Missions:
Every other Friday that I'm not working on Ref Sheets will be reserved for taking sketches in my Stream-Mission style. I'm going to limit it to sketches only, do price adjustments, and better detail the what and how about it all from what I have written on the current document by next week.
...I think that's all. O_O; I'll see about making a mock-up of the "schedule" so that people will be able to see if it's a Roommates/RefSheet week or Stream-Mission week. Head on over to the Roommates page shortly for a link to the Roommates Thursday tonight!

Question on the commissions front: When you say 'sketch' regarding Stream-missions do you mean either of the Tier 1 options? I know you're going to rewrite it but I felt like asking :P
Are you and Dreamous gonna be at FC? I still need to take you guys up on that party I missed at BLFC :p

I'm sorry your arm is hurting you. I assume there's some treatment you're advised, beyond just metering activity? I have muscular issues in one of my feet, it's a real bitch. I hope you fare better than me in that respect.
Man, do I feel dumb that I did 't check my journal sub's last night, else I wouldn't've missed the Stream. Coulda used the diversion too, I had the kind of boredom that 3 hours of Skyrim just can't fix.

First off, CONGRATS on the marriage, both of you. :) , So happy to hear that.
Second, Sorry to hear about the tendinitis. That's a real bummer.
But its nice to hear about Roommates returning soon. So excited :)
and while its nice to hear of a planned 'weekly' sorta update schedule. If hiatus's happen, I'm more than wiling to wait.
Considering all that you and Dreamous have been through the past year what with School, work, Getting Married :), Loss of loved ones :(, dragonshoard, and now to hear about this tendinitis.
It's all this combined with the courteous updates and the great artist/consumer relations even through all of this, and the determination you both have shown through all this is why I admire you both so much as artists/writers, but as people.
It's also why I get so annoyed at those who would consistantly post and whine on the Roommates page demanding updates.
So I say, keep up the great work you guys. I'll definitely be watching and waiting eagerly and patiently for what comes next.
