It's that time in my life
One of the most painful.
feeling my chest tighten
my entire faith in life crumble.

The earth beneath my feet shakes
Yet my resolve stands unmoved.
Beyond my control is this,
Things that happen to us all.

When things look the darkest
when things are most bleak
Is when we can discover
that which makes us weak.

Repair and rebuild,
it's all we can do.
When we lose something
or someone so close to us.

giving up is not an option
as it will not garner growth.
forgive ourselves, we must do
And look to tomorrow's health.

Without these mistakes in life
we would never learn.
What we do
and what we don't

it's how we realize our wrongs
and idolize the rights
Beyond the now
and even the then

Our vision must focus
onto tomorrow's when,
rebuild and repair
move on from things that hurt



Oh and people can be real douchebags, too.

This little impromptu poem is a little bit of an emotional outpouring after the break up with my now ex-mate, gummi.

I truly do wish him the best in life, thanks for having me while it lasted.
