Heads up + ask me (almost) anything i guess!
Hey folks, noticed the last journal is already 2 months old and so i guess a new one is overdue. Thing is though, there isn't really anything to talk about...so i decided to let all of you dictate what i talk/write about, which means this comment section will be an ask me anything comment section. Not sure if there is any demand for that, because quite frankly, i'm not the most interesting person out there , but we'll see, either it'll work or just nobody will ask anything, both are fine by me and both answer the question wether to do it again sometime or just shove it under the rug for now.
Also, i'm afraid that i'll have to reserve my right to answer some question, if it has the possibility of causing trouble, for example the name of the company i work for and stuff like that. I'd rather keep those things for me for now because i'm paranoid like that :P
As for some real heads up talk, i've found the one commission a month schedule to be working like a charm so far. It obviously takes off some pressure off of me with handling the logistical side of things, and it allows me to take a bit more time with the actual commissions. And it also allows me to test out more new stuff on the side and broaden my horizon, which again will hopefully flow into those commissions sooner rather than later and may also find it's way into my gallery every now and then if i think those tests are of a high enough quality or if they show something interesting.
Also, a quick shoutout to
Juindalo and the several dozen new people who found their way to me through his promotion of my gallery. Thank you very much once again! :3
That should be everything for now, have a nice day folks and ask away if there's something you want to ask me!

Books are among others the the James Gurney books, the George Bridgman books and just a bunch of other books about composition, color, drawing trees, figure drawing and all sort of stuff.
Just made my life a bit easier and just photographed them instead of listing them in text form.

The book behind the Rembrandt book which you can't see in the picture is a book about figure drawing. Actually have only barely looked at that one yet. It's interesting but wasn't quite what i was looking for unfortunately.
And on top of that there obviously is a ton of practice, testing out stuff, sometimes just throwing stuff at a wall and seing what sticks and looks good. Mixing and matching styles and all sorts of stuff.
I guess since no one else is up or on ...... What job do you have? (not asking where)
And ,yeah , i might have posted it at a weird time with the US guys sleeping ,and the european guys working. Guess aussies remain, but the bulk of users definately is missing right now! We'll see, maybe it'll pick up some steam in a few hours :P
;p im in the US just not asleep yet insomnia. Guess ill ask another if you dont mind, how did you learn about furrys and this place?
That was quite a while ago already. I was searching for dragon desktop backgrounds several years back and inevitably stumbled over deviantart. Started drawing here and there and after some time some people i watched joined FA. That's sorta how i got to know it.
The furry fandom as in how most people percieve it sort of developed over time for me, with searching for new artists and interesting pictures on the sites, learning new things with every bit i read or the comments that were made to the pictures, so it was more of a gradual development compared to just "here is the furry fandom, go go go!" . From then on it took another few years until i actually made this account and decided to really start drawing with the goal to invest most of my time into it. Before that it was more or less just dabbling about, a month here and there with more frequent drawing, followed by one or two months with no drawing at all.
I just made a page for drawings myself but I need to learn more ugh its hard to find peeps willin to help but I understand it most just wana get paid. Any ways hmmm another question... ever been to the US or even want to?
Never been to the US, but i want to visit it sometime. However as of right now there aren't even distant plans for it
And i doubt that many artists are unwilling to help, in fact i do believe this to be exactly the opposite. Teaching someone can be extremely fun and rewarding and on top of it you can often learn much yourself, but it also cost a lot of time, which drawing in itself already demands, so there always a balance to strike. I personally don't really consider myself to be good enough to really teach people about stuff, being an amateur myself. My view on many topics regarding drawings are way to ignorant to make an informed evaluation of what is right and what is wrong, and often times i wouldn't be able to offer a different perspective but my own. And that is very important to be a good teacher i believe.
what's your favorite candy?
favorite color?
favorite pony?
favorite sexual position?
Favourite candy: difficult...pretty much everything made by Ferrero is fantastic, apart from a handful of products. But the winner is probably this : http://www.les-calories.com/IMG/ODF1.jpg but only with like 1% followed by a dozen other great things.
Favourite colour: Blue
favourite pony: I'm assuming it's MLP here, in which case i haven't watched a single episode of it. So i don't know any of them. In any case, even if it was related to real horses it would be the same answer :P Not really a horse expert at all.
favourite sexual position: cowgirl
Long live the "Let's Plague" on YouTube.
