Just got back from an 'emergency' visit to the hospital for Dad. He had an Alzheimer's Panic Attack, and we had to reassure him that everything's alright. He managed to calm down and return to 'normal'. Health-wise he is getting better, so much so that he'll be released from the hospital soon. But since he's on I-V antibiotics, he has to go to a nursing home/rehab center as the house is not capable of handling the meds. The doctors are saying he'll need six weeks of the meds, and we're waiting to see just how much the insurance will cover. We don't want a repeat of what happened two years ago.
