3000 WATCHERS CONTEST Part Two
General
This is the second half of my Watchers Appreciation Contest, for the non-artistic types. It is based on a mini-contest they used to do in Hitchcock Magazine, where they would present a picture and ask their readers to write a mini-story about it. The best mini-story was printed in the next issue.
Here I have two sketches.
Number One http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11423927/
and
Number Two http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11423953/
Pick one and write something about it. A story. A poem. A joke. An advertisement. Whatever strikes your fancy, but remember to keep it short. When you're done, post it here.
Again, you have two weeks to do this, which means the entries must be in by Sept 5 at 5 pm EST.
On Sept 6, I will post a voting journal --just like I did in Part One-- and invite my watchers to vote for their favorite.
BUT PLEASE DON'T VOTE HERE. THIS IS FOR ENTRIES AND QUESTIONS ONLY
Please pick only one sketch and be sure to say if your submission is for Number One or Number Two.
Any watcher can play except for those three who won prizes in Part One of the Contest. Fair's fair, after all.
1st Prize - 3-figure color piece by me
2nd Prize - single-figure color piece by me
3rd Prize - a single-figure ink piece by me.
Good luck and if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask.

(Last words heard from Dave Bowman in 2001 before he goes into the Monolith...)
Vincent ran as fast as his young colt legs could take him. The heavy chest weighing underneath his right arm, and in his left hand he held a grip on Stephanie's, who remained clutched to Mr. Urse-Urse.
The neighbourhood bullies had been going around stealing toys from the children, including Vince's hand-held game system. He saved up all summer for this toy, and he wasn't gonna let this injustice go unnoticed. Stephanie held lookout as he took the trunk in the bad kids' clubhouse, appropriately modeled after a treasure chest, and the two made a bee-line to the nearest field, where they couldn't hide, but they couldn't be snuck upon either.
Mr. Urse-Urse was squeezed tightly to Stephanie's breast as Vincent wrenched open the rusty clasp keeping the lock closed. Prying the top open, Vince found some of the toys, including his game system. However there was a lot more in the box than just electronics, baseballs and other things. Knives, firecrackers and zipguns were also in the box, along with several bags of medicine and leafy stuff. This was deeper than either child wanted to be in.
Stephanie's ears perked up, her feline ears hearing the rabble of the bullies shouting in the distance. They had to run.
They had to run now.
