Hi ya'll, hope you're all having a good evening out there doing whatever it is you're doing, but I just wondered if you'd all take a moment of your time to read this.
Please do not upload my images anywhere else online!
I've noticed more and more in recent months that my artwork is cropping up on various other websites not owned by me, almost always without my permission and by people who are doing so for various reasons I'm not quite sure of.
I'd like it if people would refrain from posting my artwork elsewhere without asking me first please, regardless if you're just doing it to show somebody else, perhaps trying to get it to a wider audience, or just plain taking the piss out of it. I'm flattered you like my images so much, or perhaps maybe my weird artwork has freaked you out so much you felt the necessity to show others to freak them out too, in either case, I feel humbled that I've gotten that popular people take such an interest in me, truly.
The internet is a big open place where anybody is free to do whatever they desire, and I just don't have the free time or effort to go an uselessly chase up my artwork appearing everywhere else at the same time. So this is just a friendly statement asking people to at least ask me before you post my artwork somewhere else, especially if somebody commissioned it too, its not fair on them for something they bought to be placed somewhere they'd rather it not be shown.
I like my artwork to remain altogether so people can easily follow it and not have to follow different places to find it all, just as also, I'd rather it not get shown to people who might find it disturbing without a proper warning, especially the adult art that I draw! I don't mean to be grumpy and enforce rules on people, I doubt you'll even read this the ones that do post it, but I figured I might as well do a little bit to perhaps answer a lot of questions I've seen regarding comments and statements by people around my artwork, myself and such.
Incidentally, Some of you may not know that I truly don't see myself as some kind of wonderful hot shot when it comes to art, infact I'm always doubting myself over and over about everything I draw. I only post around half of the images I actually draw on here as they're the ones I think suck the least.
When checking out some of the images that were re-posted online, I often see comments regarding my artwork. Its a common fact that the human brain responds more to criticism than it does compliments, and boy, there are certainly a lot of critics out there on the internet right now! Telling me that my artwork is awful, badly drawn, poorly proportioned, ill-posed and so on, but it may shock you to learn that I end up telling myself this all the time when I'm drawing anyway! I like to think that I've become better as an artist and for taking criticism since days when I first started drawing, but I can assure you critics, that I don't for one second believe that I'm perfect or even adequate, just that I'm an artist who will strive to get a little better each day.
Furthermore, I assume to all of you reading right now that its no secret that most of my art is very fucked up, another comment I hear quite a fair bit, it downright scares some people to the point of dedicating whole websites to viciously rip my artworks apart and mock me for it, but maybe you'd be surprised to hear that thats why I love drawing it? Not because I'm sadomasochistic in that way :p but that because it stirs an emotion in some people, it gets them mad, or excited, or scared for humanity, or just plain happy to see it. I wouldn't for a second try to emulate or create any of these bizarre fetish things in real life (makes me chuckle when people genuinely assume I'm planning to actually try and inflate people with an air hose, can you imagine the mess that would make if you even tried it?) But if doodling an image of a cartoon character becoming a blimp makes the person next to me happy for one day in their measly little life? Then why shouldn't I do so?
Fact is, I don't know why I like these fetishes that much. Does anybody truly understand fetishes? Its a very common quote I hear time and again on sites where people who don't have (or at least, don't admit to having) any kind of fetish of their own, that people are plain disturbed by the fetishes I draw, and ask why I draw them in the first place.
I'd say... I just like weird things I suppose? I find creepy, dark and disturbing ideas a delight and a challenge to draw. People seem to assume that I get a boner to EVERYTHING that is drawn on here, and everything is fappable material. I can tell you right now that is plain wrong! I mostly enjoy the rubber and bondage fetish stuff in that way, yes, but mostly all of my pony material, the inflation stuff and a lot of the bad-end TF scenarios I draw just don't excite me that way :p I don't judge you if you do enjoy them in a sexual manner, but I find them funny, quirky and cute more so.
You could ask why people like watching films like Saw and such, gore films that are just... obscenely offensive, and who in their right mind actually makes those films? I honestly have no idea, but at least they're talked about though! And thats what I'm trying to say about my artwork, why draw something that will be forgotten or ignored, draw something bold, creative, and shit scary to get people interested ;)
Rest assured anyhow that offline I'm a boring, down to earth guy, I have a family and a wonderful girlfriend, a dog who barks at the postman and a resentment for whichever government is in power right now. I'm not about to snap and start shovelling super glue down my neighbor's throat! (Even though I might draw it, drawing something isn't the same as acting it out in real life, just as video games don't turn kids into prostitute murderers, unless you actually believe that guff, and then you're all as bad as Jack Thompson!...or maybe somebody more current, Bill O'reilly? Glen Beck... who knows.)
Still reading? Thanks for doing so though, I hope that you'll all take that into account in future when posting/reviewing my artwork online, if you do see something on another site, either link the moderator to this journal and get them to take it down, or leave it alone and forget about it XD I'll go crackers if I try and keep all my art in one place anymore. I'm pretty OCD about these things (on the internet, you must be joking!) but its the best I can do with the time I have available.
Thank you all so much for being great fans! I hope to see you all soon.

And yes~ So much yes. We can like strange things without wanting to do it in real life. People just are weird like that and go "if you like it you must want to do it". Quite stupid, and yet these people just yell more and more.
*hugs a Sammy* I'm glad to hear ya are taking it in stride and continuing to just move on. Good on ya~
I look up to your art a great deal, and in fact you're on my bucket list of people to commission like crazy. Heck, I was even going to draw you a bit of gift art to go with the card packages.
I can't possibly comment on all of this; too much to say. Perhaps if we had more ease of talking I could help soothe your mind, we could understand one another, and the like. I'd personally love to talk with you as a friend, but maybe that's just me being a deranged fanboy c;
But yeah, I and many others love your art, so please, don't let up! c:
As for you art and some people finding it dark. Meh, screw 'em. There is always going to be people trying to undermine others. You also don't need to give reasons why behind your art.
also, vykos's art is WAAAAAY more dark, waay :P
But yeah. Really hope that you continue to draw rubber for years to come.
And I'll be honest. If it weren't for you, I might not have interest in getting my own latex suit! I honestly have serious plans to get one after I graduate college and get a steady job. So, kudos.
Either way, I enjoy your style and think you are definitely above adequate, but humility is a good quality to have. :)
I'd like to think that fetishes are the mind's way of ignoring reality and opting for something different. After all, I'm disappointed by everyday life every day. (I mean, where the hell are those hoverboards? It's the same year Marty McFly traveled to, for god's sake.) So I look for odd and fascinating crap I can stare at to make the monotony go away. And well...yours were one of the better ones.
That's not to say you're not wrong in critiquing yourself; I do it myself always. But it's okay to say to yourself "You're doing a good job" every once in a while. Take me: I can't draw worth much, but I can still chuckle at a well-made pun or joke I make. (For example: Why is no one in Minecraft an author? They all have writer's block.) What I'm saying is to ease up on yourself, man! You're great, you have a fan following and random people who poke the hell out of you because they like you. (Guilty.) So chin up! Ignore the worst naysayers and just go with your own opinions while still taking constructive critique.
well hopeful things go will in this regards.
